Is this the photo where you demonstrate the Jeep Wave to your passenger in the unlikely circumstance that someone other than you drives the new JT?
Enjoy!
@Bobs85Reny how about a Hydro Blue Gladiator with a cab height bed rack in black? I know your renders are far beyond that level of simplicity  ... but a simple bed rack will meet my cargo needs without the wind noise.
Searching about 30 dealers in the Metro Detroit area, there were about 30 Gladiators "in transit" ... none on lots. I actually ran this search last Friday. I hoped some would show on lots today, but they all still say "in transit". Given the close proximity to Toledo, I have to imagine...
There's a lot to like about a Gladiator, but I struggle with their looks. In some pics they're ugly/awkward, but they look good in other pics. I think it's the length to height ratio. A 2" lift with 37s will definitely help. I also think the use of graphics can shorten its appearance. The...
Only the bottom one is a rendering. The top 3 are actual photos. Like pau32 said, lighting really affects pearl coat paints. The 3rd pic in the set, the JK outdoors, looks most like the Hydro Blue Jeeps I see around. It does look lighter except at dusk and with indoor lighting.
If those angled supports are rigged to mount near the top of the bed rail, you still would only end up with room for 1-2 sheets of plywood between them and the top of the Deck. You might be better off hauling the plywood on top of the Leitner rack.
Regarding the angled supports:
If the Decked...
I could see that working ... vertical supports that are full height, just with different mounting point heights. One concern would be whether the tops of the vertical supports would get in the way of a RTT mounted to cross rails at the lower setting.
My thought would be something like you see...
Order guide lists this decal among others for $400. I wonder if anyone can order any decal for that awkward spot (on the body between the rear door and the bed) regardless of what trim level Gladiator they order.
Ditto on this. Except, #2. I like the rack height to match the cab so that kayaks could extend above the cab. A few manufacturers make bed racks two different heights ... cab height, and one ideal for RTT.
But, it'd be cooler if they made a single rack with an adjustable height. Rather than...
I like that they incorporated a bed rack into one of their concepts. If Mopar puts a bed rack into production, I hope they include 2 main features:
1. Rear cross rail that slides forward to allow loading taller cargo.
2. Space on inner edge of bed rail to work with tonneau covers.
Max Tow package comes with the wider Dana 44s AND body color fender flares. I do like the look of the body color flares, but how durable are they? I know they'll end up rubbing rocks/trees on trails with the Gladiator's longer wheel base.
