come to Nashville, TN and drive me to work a couple days in a manual then decide what is best. My ZJ is a 5 speed and my left leg is twice the size of my right after I drive it to the clinic for a couple weeks.
In my opinion, this is the only thing they missed on the Gladiator and the JL for that matter. It seems to me like a huge no brainer that if you are sitting out in the sun in your Jeep product that cool air be blowing across your backside would be like heaven on earth.
The line is running slow while the team makes their job tasks habit. The line will be increased incrementally until it is at full velocity for the model. Much easier to control quality if your team isn’t under stress learning the vehicle
He is closing the border to human traffic not commercial traffic. If he blocks commercial traffic he will be violating his treaty. A little education goes a long way on what ignorance is or isn’t.
Just an assumption that it will be the same basic geometry as the EcoDiesel in Ram and all of the other Jeep products. So in a direct answer my comment is based solely on FCA history and not backed up by any hard facts.
Think of it as a pricing thread comment
I really think the Jeep dropped the ball on the diesel in the JT and the JL when they chose to stick with electric fans. Sure they save a little bit of power but it is negligible when replaced with the viscous fan clutch like the 3.0 Ford engine has. If you don't know how the viscous fan...
NO! you called out what you perceived to be BS without anything outside of your opinion to go on. When you are the only one on a 14 page thread that cannot get along with everyone else...maybe you're the problem.
I read in several threads on this forum that they were not actual end use customers. TB just has to be an adversary, mellineialism on parade, cannot find it inside themselves to be happy and get along but yell at all of us for being intolerant.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and views on the economic system. Your opinion should be based on current facts and not on old or incorrect info.
I knew there were some all electric systems out there because Tesla and others have electric only powertrains so both AC and heat have to be electric. I didn't do any research about any vehicles that currently utilize the technology.
I mentioned the 401K thing because another poster said that only shareholders benefit from rising stock prices at the detriment of the middle class. That assumption is outdated and completely wrong. The vast majority of equity holders in US firms are the middle class through their retirement...
I do like the turbo 2.0 but since I need a truck I will be getting a Gladiator to scratch the Jeep itch. What will really save fuel and I suspect is in the pipeline for every manufacturer is to convert the AC to an electric compressor so that it can run off of the 48V while the engine is off...
Do you realize that about 40% of Americans have a 401k? The average 401k value is about $100k. Most 401k accounts primarily hold equities or in other words shares of stock. Do a little research and find out just who FCA's stockholders are. I would also suggest Econ 101.
Yep no electric motor means no starter. The alternator is just an electric motor in reverse. Actually when you think about it realistically the BSG is less complicated since it has one less electric motor. I am not yet a fan of etorque but I am very interested in the technology. It just...
I hadn't seen that video before and it is pretty sweet. Those people in the video are 10 times tougher than I am. I may have a small bit of ADD and there is no way I could do their job on a long term basis, i'd literally go crazy!
Customer order doesn't mean the same on a wholesale level as it does on a retail level. For the Jeep factory the dealers are their customers. For the retail outlet the end user is the customer.
Lol. At this time I do not have an airplane I have a buddy who did the flying when we went to AR but he had, yes had, pancreatic cancer. He survived but his ability to pilot his plane did not. He offered to sell it to me but wife used her veto power to kill the thought.
Actually I sold the JK a while ago and bought my daughter an ES350. I actually drive a 1993 ZJ. I’m not sure how that is relevant. If it matters to you my wife drives a QX80.
