What I don't understand is that the dealer is invoiced when it's built. Mine has been sitting at Toledo since 4/14, and the dealer doesn't seem to care. They must have really deep pockets since they have over 20 waiting to ship.
At some point, the system will partly collapse if they continue to raise prices without stopping. This has happened before in the industry. It's like the oligarchs getting as much as they can before the next drop. They actually said that.
Update: Yesterday my JTR was "rail loaded". At least it's now on a train. :CWL:

At night when all the appliances are shut down? I don't know what the drain is, but my neighbor charges his two EVs every night and he says it's "minimal". He's a Republican by the way.
It's true the oligarchs are going to do everything in their power to squash, EV, PHEV, hydrogen, wind, even nuclear, but mostly in the U.S. Like seemingly everything else, the rest of the world will get on with it (GM, Ford, and yes even Jeep are planning on it). I agree though, charging has...
The better way to help create that power is through rooftop, not large solar fields, but you have to have the Feds and States make it worthwhile, like New Mexico with net meetering. We spent quite a bit on rooftop solar (6.2 kW), but got over 1/3 of it back in our taxes. And while our...
In that case everyone I know who drive them are happy with them, charge them at home while sleeping including PHEV owners. Are batteries there yet, no, but the Wright brothers could never imagine flying 120 people across the country in a few hours. A new start up in my city is making a hydrogen...
My dealer has a number of Jeeps still waiting to ship too, so the dealer has no power to move things along, so to speak. Can the shippers actually think diesel costs will get lower anytime soon?
It must be cost of diesel by shipper. Mine ordered 2/25, built 4/14 and still sitting at Toledo. It must be that we’re in the West. I guess we’ve had this conversation before.
I agree. I’ve been wheeling since 1968 in Jeeps, Toyotas, Isuzus, and it’s all about knowing the limitations of your vehicle and your experience, or in this case the lack of…
