I think one of the worst contributing things to global warming is the energy consumption in mining, manufacturing and disposal of lead and lithium batteries. The economics to produce and maintain the ESS system don't add up to the savings in fuel. By the way, is the ESS in the diesel Gladiators?

@jeepers29 I take it you ordered a Casita? I think the Casitas are well made. I've looked in one at a campground here in Ohio. They are a little heavier than the Scamp because the fiberglass completely surrounds the trailer as the Scamp has an epoxy covered wood bottom. Casitas I believe...

I looked it up. It is a good looking Pop-up! I'm pulling close to the same weight however I get the wind effect that reduces MPG. I don't travel too far, but with your rig it would be a pleasure to pull.

At the CAT scales they charge about twelve bucks, then tell them you want to un-hook and get a re-weigh. You can unhook and weight the truck for two bucks more. If your loaded for camping it will help you when making decisions about what all to take with you.
