  2. The Philistine thread - non-lifted Gladiators and not likely to be, either

No lift here. I tow with it, stock height is better. I also use to access some wild and beautiful parts of WV.
  3. For some of us, north should always be up...

    Yep... "this the way."
  4. Adaptive Cruise Control: yay or nay?

I understand. I am not afraid of it. I just don't like it. I am old school at times. Just a preference.
  5. Adaptive Cruise Control: yay or nay?

I have it but have never used. It just seems odd or unsettling to give that much control over to a computer. When I sit in the left front seat (in the US) I am the driver not a passenger.
  6. Who would be interested in a two door Gladiator?

If were just me, yes. I would want a 2 door Gladiator. But with a mother-n-law and kid to carry too, well, I need to 4-door.
  7. Bought an RV, JT tows it fine

It has been a while. Seems some folks want an update. Others have opinions or concerns about the setup. Jumping in. We have done 3 trips since purchasing the TT: 230, 300, and 190 miles one way each. That’s around 1500 miles. So far, so good. I took the trailer empty (no gear, no food...

  12. HELP... Running lights on Jeep working, but no power to trailer running lights at 4way or 7 way at bumper

This happen to me too. Same thing, brakes and turn signals were fine but no running lights. I had blown one of the fuses in the main fuse box under the hood. It is in the owner's manual. I don't have it in front of me right now. I will look for it online.
  13. Does anyone know of a long range fuel tank?

In the video the spare stays in place. They had to modify the exhaust to make it fit.
  14. Does anyone know of a long range fuel tank?

I saw this on You Tube https://www.dwell.com/article/vermont-domed-earth-house-bob-chappelle-real-estate-7a434f43
  15. DEF usage

DEF is a consumable. The rate of consumption is in proportion to the work. The harder you run the Jeep the more you use. I had a diesel Ram 3500. When I towed or hauled heavy loads for any distance I carried extra DEF just in case. Not all gas stations carry it. Most truck stops do. Some...
  16. Anyone tow a offroad/adv/camper trailer with the tailgate down?

Another opition is to get a toy hauler camper. You put the bikes in the camper and two them. I did a quick Google for "off road toy hauler" and got a bunch or hots. One was this https://www.shoppok.com/sanmarcos/a,38,84935,2018-Kz-Rv-Sportsmen-180THT-Off-Road-Edition-Toy-Hauler--17995.htm...
  17. Total weight of Rubicon with gear 7000lbs. Thoughts?

You can usually get away with for short easy hauls. It is pretty tough the vehicle (chassis, braking, transmission, suspension, cooling, etc...) Going for a long haul or technical trail overloaded is not a good idea.
  18. Is there a front receiver hitch with Rubicon steal bumper and skid plate?

Yea, I am thinking of having one welded on. There is pretty good fab shop near me. I think I will have a chat with them. One day maybe a different bumper.
