  1. I think the JT will handle it....thoughts?

If you have the auto you should be with the specs. Just watch your combined GVW. If you pack enough stuff in the Jeep (including people) and the camper you might exceed that number. But you should be ok.
  2. Towed Camper, 3700 lbs

Over the weekend we rented an RV. A Prime Time PTX 170BHS with a dry weight of 3169 lbs. Add in gear, food, water, kids toys, chairs, grill, etc… probably 3700 lbs or so. My JTR has a manual. It pulled just fine. No issues. The Redarc Tow Pro elite electric brake controller worked well.

I have three of these. The fold up nicely out of the way but are sturdy enough to groceries and other errands. Trunkcratepro Collapsible Portable Multi Compartments Trunk Organizer, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MQ4UJNA/ref=twister_B0864RZLK9?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
  4. Rampage Tow Mirror Adapters for JT/Gladiator

I just received the adapters I ordered from ebay. Excellent work. The instructions were clear and precise. The mirrors fit on just fine. I will be testing them out this weekend while towing a camper. Job well done. Thank you,
  5. Maryland Looking for an off road utility trailer

Does anyone know of a basic low walled utility trailer for off road use? Looking to carry water, 1 to 1.5 tons, from source to remote location. And when needed remove the tank and use the trailer for all sorts of stuff. Thanks in advanced.
  6. Does any rack work with factory 3 piece cover?

It is a little cumbersome. To roll the soft cover or fold the hard cover you need to remove the crossbars and whatever is on them. The soft cover should clear under the higher rack. I am not sure about the hard cover.

  12. Is anybody happy with the new Gladiator

I am really enjoying my Jeep. I think people are just more likely to complain. I think you would find the same on any owners group. Bottom line, I like my Jeep. My wife wants one of the hybrids they are teasing now. I like mine so much I wouldn't stop her from getting the family's second one.
  13. Added brake controller

It is 2020 and the world is dealing with a Pandemic. So, we are going RVing. We are renting one to test it out and see what we think as a family. Thank you, but that didn't help. But it gave me an idea. I pulled the power from the batteries (both) and let the jeep sit for a minute. Then reconnected. I rebooted my Jeep, the Microsoft solution. Well, it worked. The icons and functionality came back.
  18. Software update killed cameras, off road pages plus unknown

Great! The Jeep performed an over the air update and now the front and rear cameras do not work. The option doesn't even show. The off road pages are gone and Who knows what else got messed up.
