Just turned 400miles. Averaging over mix use of city, mountain and highway of 25.5mpg.
The engine is better than my XM radio. I drove it from Palm Springs to San Diego with the radio off just so I can listen to the motor. The light clatter of the engine. BTW, why do diesels sound like this...
Yes, as others noted, @RobTrachtman at tutle click in Irvine. He will give you a fair deal. Better than anyone else in southern california. Don’t waste your time with Poway, escondido, bob baker or the others.
So to be clear (no pun intended) ceramic tint on my windshield will NOT interfere with my adaptive cruise? Just got it done and haven’t tested my cruise yet.
A few Ordered options:
Diesel
Accessory switch
Painted fenders but black hardtop
Black grill
Upgraded polished rims (more on this later)
List of things done:
Window and windshield tint
Removed the bumper wings
Installed a spiderweb shade
Removed the rubicon stickers from the hood
EAG tube doors...

the market is so unbelievable right now, Carmax gave me 39,400. I just looked at what I bought it for and it was 41700. I basically lost TTL fees after driving it it for over a year and 23000miles. ?
Not sure if this only applies to the hard top but I was comparing our 2020 Sport with our new 20201 rubicon and it has this. it doesn’t rain in Southern California so not sure what it does. looks like a rain diverter.
Back in the day we used to put dry ice on the carburetor intake manifold at the drag strip. Totally different application and obviously impractica. I’m not sure just opening the grill to let more hot air in onto the coils would help.
Oh, and if anyone is looking for an excellent condition Sport S
