  2. How did I accidentally repair my ESS??

The aux battery is to help keep the computers alive when the start happens from ess. If you eliminate it ESS still works just off the main battery only
  3. Best A/T Tires

Just get fallen Mt rt or at or the mickey Thompson at/Mt they're all thick carcasses
  4. 2025 Rubicon X clearance for 37” BFG KO3

I did 37s on a non lifted Rubicon very briefly with 4.5 backspace warn jackhammers. No rubbing on the street, disconnected it ripped a front fender off and in the rear it half ripped a fender off when I went 3 wheeling with one rear fully stuffed and the other hanging. If you are on the street...
  5. 37” BFG KO3 Load C

Keep in mind when comparing k02 wear they have literally 4-5 compounds. The oem spec c rated ko2s are not the same as the aftermarket and even the aftermarket has 3pmsf and non-3 peak with the non 3pmsf being super hard compound I've found.
  6. 37” BFG KO3 Load C

When people say they run smaller it's that they are measuring hub to floor not actual circumference. Bfgs aren't really any smaller but they do squat quite a bit more than most AT. I've had bfgs in 39 and 37s, both required 38.75 and 36.5 to get accurate speedos which was a different measurement...
  7. Need some advice and feedback on towing with 37's

5k lbs dry so like 6-6.5k wet and tall? That's going to be a lot diesel or not for these trucks.
  8. Went for 4 Tires - Got told these issues, pricing right?

Did you actually check the wear/play yourself? The JT and JLs have pretty good factory steering with most people getting quite a lot of miles out of the track bar, tie rod, and drag links. Also the leaking shock, how leaking? You can have a bad wiper seal that will leave a bit of oil on the...
  9. Went for 4 Tires - Got told these issues, pricing right?

Sounds like a money grab personally
  10. Jeeps newest sticker package_Toy Story Edition

Minority, but this is better than all the 12 for 12 sticker packs I've seen so far.
  11. Another Death wobble conflicting info Clayton lift

BFGs are well known to take shit tons of weight in the big sizes and often require road force balancing to reach a tolerable level. My last set of BFGs needed 7 pounds of weights between the 4 tires to "balance" and I use that term loosely as it was more like close enough than actually balanced.
  12. Another Death wobble conflicting info Clayton lift

Definitely sounds like a tire issue, off balance tires will be most pronounced between 50 and 70 usually as those are critical speeds. Static balance is worth a try but if the tires still have a bit of vibration dynamic or even better road force are the only ways to go. You can static balance a...
  13. Two Years Left for the Current Gen—What do you think we’ll see?

Also agree, as soon as it detects that towing load it uses tow haul mode on its own. I'd argue I want a button to turn it off some times towing the camper instead of turning it on really.
  14. Two Years Left for the Current Gen—What do you think we’ll see?

The bronco sold 31k in q1 vs 44k wranglers in q2, not sure about April since jeep doesn't report monthly sales but if the wrangler cratered that hard in the 2nd quarter that would really hurt.
  15. Two Years Left for the Current Gen—What do you think we’ll see?

Once the jls have them the aftermarket will follow like they did for all the advantek stuff. I'd imagine it's mostly going to the upper trims as a specialty axle like the full float did as well. The lower trims are supposed to get gutted or are bought by people who don't care so not a big...
  16. Two Years Left for the Current Gen—What do you think we’ll see?

I think it will be a lot of subtle changes, they can't afford to let the flagship (wrangler) languish for too long or the cash cow ends as it's already about to be eclipsed by the bronco for sales. The jl and JK look similar but there are a lot of quality of life improvements between them that...
  17. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

So he was only off by a few years since they're still so far off from arriving. Make enough predictions and you look like Nostradamus if you ignore the wrong ones lol
  18. FRAM and Champion Labs Affected by First Brands Bankruptcy

That sucks the fram ultra was tested as one of the best filters on the market. No wonder my local Walmart fram stuff has been mostly non-existent for so long
  19. Fraser 3.6 Reman Swap

The current gen mopar plastic oil housing is actually the best one still because it eliminated the figure 8 orings which was the common point of failure. The plastic itself is only an issue if you dont do your own oil and don't use a torque wrench. Even a lot of the JK guys are switching back...
