  1. Advice requested re regear for 315’s

Jscan can set tire size and gear size, but those numbers need to match what's physically installed on the truck.
  2. Advice requested re regear for 315’s

4.88 is about the same for 37s as 4.56. I went one step more to 5.13s since 37s are generally heavier and more resistance than 35s
  3. Advice requested re regear for 315’s

Uh, regearing means opening the diffs and swapping the gears, not just changing it in the tazer/jscan. Your post made it seems like you think you just need to swap between the numbers but that's not true. Swap the numbers for the tires so the speedo is right, the gear ratio needs to match...
  4. Metal Cloak vs Synergy/Yeti?

Have you seen yours flex or just the videos? When they switched to the iron boxes that frame flex went away so you most likely won't gain anything, I know I didn't and instead just removed the brace once the bearing went bad. I'd get your caster to 6 degrees or just under, then decide if you...
  5. Need your feedback, Manual or Auto, Rubicon or Mojave.

Do you plan on lifting and bigger tires? Go Rubicon since you are replacing the Mojave suspension anyways. Do you off road over obstacles at lower speeds climbing up things? Go Rubicon. Do you plan on staying basically stock, or small spacer lift and mostly on road? Mojave is better on road. Do...
  6. Towed our Camper for the first Time!

Spoken like someone who hasn't actually towed anything substantial with the gladiator. I've towed our aliner and now the 23 foot nobo and it does great with a wdh. Only needs a little more power to be really perfect but for 23ish foot trailers under 5-5.5k pounds the gladiator is more than...
  7. BFG KO2 DT?

The DT are non 3pmsf I believe
  8. Tacoma Breaks Down on Trail

Haven't seen the new gen, but my Rubicon with leather fit and finish and especially tech is way better than my neighbors previous gen Tacoma with leather. We both agreed the jeep interior was just so much nicer and premium and the 8.4 made his feel even more dated. Bought precovid and withing a...
  9. Jeep is Cutting Prices and Adding Content!

I believe they only saw the color in bright cool white artificial lighting where it actually doesnt look bad and were like yeah its a highlighter! Every other light turns it to that nasty pastelish yellow green
  10. For anyone interested in Mojave X interior colors -

I thought the Mojave was the desert rated one, why is it swamp water colored inside?
  11. Towed new 4300lb camper in 30-50mph winds

Not sure if it was directed at me, but if it was did you read where I said I was pleasantly surprised by how well it's did lol. I've been driving this slow pig for 3 years and towing for a few of those on the regular so I was actually expecting much worse, instead I found it much better.
  12. Towed new 4300lb camper in 30-50mph winds

They're d rated falken wild peak RT's. When towing I have them around 40-42 in the back to up their stiffness. Didn't notice any tire squirm like I did when I had 34.5 pmetric tires on my ram 1500.
  13. Towed new 4300lb camper in 30-50mph winds

It's stiffer but I definitely don't find it rough since the first stage is really close to stock rate. I found the stock Rubicon suspension to be rollypolly so the swap to Clayton and fox 2.0s stiffened it some but also took the bounce and jutter out providing an overall better day to day feel.
  14. Towed new 4300lb camper in 30-50mph winds

Yes, the Clayton's are a triple rate with a higher spring rate of 159 for stage 1, 280 for stage 2 and 360 for stage 3. The 3 stages really help with heavy loads and limit squat very well. I carried 1600 pounds of tile on a very short drive home with 700 pounds of people in the car and still had...
  15. Study: EVs cost more to fuel than ICE engines

Are you on teco or Duke? Teco is much much better rates than Duke who has basically doubled my rate in 10 years. I used to pay 350-400 summer and 150ish winter. The house isn't helping in that the previous owners replaced a stone tile roof with shingles so the amount of heat that makes its way...
  16. ARE JL and JT shocks the same? Interchangeable?

Fronts are interchangeable (probably not the same valving though), rear are different and jl/jt specific
  17. Jeep is Cutting Prices and Adding Content!

In 12 years all these cars will be about 10k and any major malfunction will basically send them to the scrap heap or an engine swap. It's also crazy to think that the current dealer price of a battery replacement is what it will always be at. Other phevs all come down to around 2k for a reman...
  18. Study: EVs cost more to fuel than ICE engines

Must be nice, in our part of Florida I'm at 700 bucks a month summer 360 a month in winter. Duke energy can suck my 8@115
  19. Oil Changes 101 by Blackstone Labs ?

My wife describes me as shamu flopping under the car after I cover myself in oil from missing the bucket. Although now with the jt I can just use a 5 gallon bucket and avoid the mess.
  20. Towed new 4300lb camper in 30-50mph winds

Dry weight is 3838 according to the manufacturers sticker. The 2023 and 2024 NB's are about 3-400 pounds heavier than the 2022's which was also a factor I considered when we decided to look for used vs new. They switched the suspension to a cool independent coil spring with shock suspension...
