Added another tow hook. I always thought the Sport with one hook looked funny. A trip to the dealer and about $100 later and some elbow grease, tada!!
Saved some money instead of buying a rubicon rear bumper.
Had my rears on for a couple weeks so far and I absolutely love these shocks. The truck rides very well overall. For daily driving it feels great and absorbs any bumps it goes through. Highly recommend if Fox 2.5’s are out of budget.
Hi all, selling a set of brand new, unused front adjustable lower control arms from Metalcloak.
I could still send these back to MC for a refund but not really wanting to pay a restock fee. My loss is your gain. Retails originally for $360.
Brand new and never installed.
$300 shipped.
Hi all, long shot, I know but I’m looking to trade my Bright White sport hood plus $500 for a Rubicon hood in the same color.
Located in the Phoenix area. If anyone is interested, please let me know. Thanks!
What are you guys getting for actual measurements while under on the truck? Is it around 35"-35.5" ?...
Looking at these or the Patagonia's in 37x12.5r17.
I have 35" KO2's on my Max Tow with 4.10's. I average about 18 mpg here in Phoenix. Mostly highway driving and I see 8th all the time and consistently. Like you said, they run a little on the smaller side and lighter which helps. I'm considering going to 37" KO2's once these wear out but...
Thanks for the pictures! In regards to the front, the bracket should be flipped the way you did it. In the booklet, it says the bend should be towards the rear for 2.0's. You did it right.
It is a little unfortunate about the reservoirs for the rears. I was hoping it would look similar to the...
That's awesome. I'm in exactly the same boat you are. I'm going to give Clayton a call about their springs.
Great to hear about your install. I'm still waiting for my rears, I think those will make the biggest difference. Thanks for the tip for the rear install as well. Do you have pictures of...
I’ve been very happy with AEV spacers. No clunks and rides great. Recently updated to longer shocks so I got rid of the shock extensions.
Also, it keeps the factory rake. I installed Rubicon front springs to level it out a bit.
I currently have AEV 2” spacers. I may purchase the Clayton 2.5” lift coils since I have everything else already. Did they recommend these shocks for you?
I called in and spoke to John. He had me measure some parameters to give me the proper shocks. I also explained what my uses and modifications were and he set me up from there. Highly recommend.
Correct. Metal cloak steering upgrade along with their trackbar. Currently have the 2” AEV spacers but looking for springs that will give the same lift height.
Going from stock Max tow shocks, to Rubi Fox, and now to Fox 2.0 remote reservoirs.
All I can say is wow, what a difference. Stock for the ride was plush and soft, with Rubi Fox, the ride was stiffer (not in a bad way) but I got a lot of see-saw action. I was not a fan of that and that’s the...
