Not exactly. Even GDE says they aren't sure. Not saying you're wrong, just that neither of us are correct, yet.

I believe GDEs new tune come on a plug in installation device. Mailing in your ECU should not be required anymore, if I am understanding what I have heard correctly. Although to be fair, all of their tunes before the EPA compliant ones came out, did function as you started.

If this end up getting CARB compliance, I may look at it, since it doesn't sound like GDE will. I'd prefer the GDE tune.

I was thinking of the same work around. I have family in arizona, and friends in texas. It's nice to hear is easy and feasible. Thank you.

Quick isn't the right word for it. What I will say is that I'm at (or above) speed limits before I know it. Little turbo lag is noticable. First diesel I've owned so this is a brand new experience for me. I will say I love it!!

I have a diesel JTR that should be delivered in days. I want to have the scanguage 2 so I can see egr temps, soot levels, active regen cycles, etc. I don't think I can do this and have a tazer at the same time. I would love to be able to disable the start/stop feature, activate navigation...
