This is exactly what mine shows...I assume that is the charging but not the actual charge from of the battery itself. So can I assume I need a new battery? (I mean its a 2020 72k on the ordinal battery)

I have a gen1 JT ordered from the factory…I was not provided with a manual but WAS provided with a thumb drive with the manual on it. Probably saved 2 trees
I will be one of the many people here who have bought from Travis and will say the experience was fantastic…regardless of where you lay your head…it’s worth the trip.
Mine is on the side RCI rack...this is thru-axle but you can get quick release...or even a combo of both. They do sell an option for the front wheel holder. As for upright, I have not seen any for this type of rack...(in the 90's there were some made but that was specifically for bikerace...
Yep...I do have the OVS one and yes...its much heavier and bigger.
I can say this, the folks at OVS are pretty cool...they helped me out a bunch when mine broke (my fault) and super helpful. Also...the OVS has a much larger coverage (goes to the front of the jeep not just the rear doors.) but...
Have one for a year now. All the pros and cons said here are valid.
That being said I will add my $.02
Cons
1) Heavy - Combined with my rack/RTT/batwing and when carrying water etc it definitely rocks (not in the fun way)
2) Space - The mechanics make for some "wasted" space but they do give...
