DO NOT use Pamby in Ridgefield - I've had issues there. I drive to Meadowland in Carmel NY - they are fantastic!! Pamby gave me a huge run around on the steering gear, Meadowland just said yes and put it on order. Great people to deal with
Same thought from me, I live in a snowy area, went with KO2's - they have been very good on the trails, very good on the road and great in the snow. And as someone else mentioned, not nearly as heavy as Nitto. In the end, there will be some compromise for each of these choices, just be...
I noticed you have the Falcon adjustable shocks - are you running them with the stock Rubi springs? What setting do you have them on? And really nice set up!!
my service manager told me the total opposite, said FCA reached out and told them to do the TSB "if the customer complains" - my dealer had no problems getting it done for me. Love the new steering gear. My truck was not bad when I purchased it, but after some hard wheeling, it really started...
Just got mine done last week, definitely can feel the difference! My dealership was great, no issues doing it, ordered and had the parts in less than a month. Interesting tidbit, the service manager said that FCA reached out and told them to make sure they do the TSB if the customer complains...
I have the same set up, took the tent down for the winter so can't get the height, but I did put in the AirLift 1000 airbags, and added the adjustable Falcon shocks - work great as my rear load changes dramatically when I go from full camping to no tent / no gear I can adjust the airbags and shocks.
it was a good solution for me - I won't keep the tent up there year round, so if I went with longer springs in the back to be balanced under full load, I'd have a really unbalanced rig with no tent / gear. Post pictures when you're done!
and no cupboards, the weight is ok on the standard Rubi shocks, but once I added a RTT and gear, the shocks were way too soft - added Falcon adjustable so I can ramp them up with the added weight and dial back down once I take the RTT off. I also added Airlift 1000 air bags to minimize the sag
I buffed most of it out - but that truck is never going back to that dealer. they would probably deny they did it anyhow - I can guarantee it was not from anyone else though.
