It might be a problem but I can't say I've heard near as many issues with the Pentastar heads as there have been on the other powertrains in the video.
If you're curious they were:
Ford 5.4 3V
Nissan CVT
GM 1.4 Turbo
GM 3.6 V6
Pentastar vs the Pentastar Upgrade (PUG). Started rolling out for the 2016 GC and Durango and has been placed in everything else as new models were released, including the only V6 that's been in the JL and JT. JK never had it.

That's good to hear. I haven't scheduled mine yet but was hoping that would be the case. Either that or now it'd actually throw a code when it gets rough since it feels like it's misfiring. My guess is that it fixes it because it's a full update to the engine computer with the latest (and...
Just got mine in the mail today. 2020 Overland with a 9/19 build date.
Mine likes to misfire at idle but without a code I haven't even bothered taking it to the dealer so maybe this will either provide an updated tune that will help that or let it throw a code so I can get it in.
Also, curious...
Just flip the shifter over to M and find a gear that it likes to be in.
Also FYI, the 8 speed has two O/Ds and the 9 speed has four. I've never driven the 9 speed with a Chrysler/FCA/Stellantis tune but have no complaints about it in my Honda.
Seems right that the most "Patriotic" brand isn't even an American company
The Top 10:
Model 3, Mustang, Model Y, Cherokee, Corvette, Ridgeline, Odyssey, Pilot, Passport, Tundra.
Just one of the carryovers after the "monostable" shifter from other models that had fewer detents in than positions and returned to the center when you let go was a disaster. After an actor was killed when his Grand Cherokee rolled back and crushed him against a gate because it wasn't in park...
The only car that might have a "defrost cycle" would be the Tesla Model Y because it has a heat pump. Other vehicles just have a cycling or variable speed compressor with a pressure sensor in the system to prevent freezing. If your A/C freezes up in the summer there's something out of wack in...
My Gladiator had one. Dealership puts them on everything when they're prepped. Pissed me off but they did disclose it. Also, went searching for it and ripped it out as soon as I got home though mine was very shittily cut into other wires under the dash instead of connected inline to an existing...
The comments in my post are more geared towards a Gladiator (and basically any SFA with recirculating ball steering) will by nature be looser than any decent rack and pinion steering like what would be on any other midsize or 1/2 ton truck.
Pros: Probably one of the best seating positions of any vehicle I've ever been in. The interior is actually very comfortable front and rear and has a lot of modern conveniences: Stereo bumps, ACC is awesome, LED headlights are bright as hell. The roof and doors come off.
Cons: Know what you're...
Lol, I think that gets said every time a new Wrangler generation comes out. Though I think it'll be hard to ever top the biggest "the world is ending" when the JK was unveiled with the only good for running to the mall 4 door unlimited model and no 4.0.
It's probably not about bringing models here but maximizing scale out of each component. The same could have been said about Fiat when the took control of Chrysler (though FCA did spend a ton of cash trying to make Fiat relevant in the US). What's more worth noting is that out of six models in...
Pretty much every major automaker has large engineering facilities in the US where they design some of their cars, usually their mid-size and larger SUVs and trucks.
Buy what you want, I do. I'm just trying to get people thinking. The American vs import isn't as black and white as it was in the...
What is an American vehicle? US HQ? Assembled in US? Designed in the US? High domestic content? By any of the above metrics a Jeep is no more American than Honda.
I don't know business law in all the different countries. Is there anything to keep from labelling the division in each region being something different where they could have a name with some history. Like Stellaris being the parent, like Alphabet for Google, the North America division being...
