I have had 2 Gladiators, three engines and thousands of excuses from FCA. My dealership has been the saving grace in this debacle. When they openly admit that the engines are defective and they buy back my first Gladiator.... that is honesty.
Dealer told me there are hundreds of Gladiators with the damaged cylinders. Can’t believe there are competing defects. All the symptoms are the same.

They replaced my engine yesterday. There are hundreds of Gladiators with the the damaged cylinder walls. Tell your dealer to check into it. Left bank is not holding compression. I feel Jeep is stalling on TSB or recall.
Day 112. Dealership confirmed crated engine is on location. Start removal and plug n play tomorrow. FCA seems confident the damaged cylinder walls is the issue. Over 400 units have been identified according to dealer rep.
I remember early post in May where guys were saying they broke theirs in hard and the issues resolved themselves. At the time it was thought to be software adaptive learning issue.
Just out of curiosity have you compared your VINs and build dates? My build dates and VIN were very close. The vehicles were pretty much identical... and engine blocks probably came off the same run. My service director is admitting there was a production error involving piston cylinders...
