Wow, what are the chances? I’m on the Facebook group too, and most owners report that their gladiators have been great. Did you get new or remanufactured engines?

Seems like actually rebuilding the heads and engine would be better than a new one, if this is truly a hardware issue. I am curious how bad the hardware is or if it is less than ideal hardware that is functional but noisy. When I datalog the engine, the knock sensors do pickup up alot of extraneous noise, especially at high idle and stop start. FCA engineers must know because their is a very quick reset to the misfire counter, my guess this was an effort to fix the problem.
Dealership did compression test and all three left bank cylinders failed. Blown engine at 36 miles
Do they know if it is rings or the the valvetrain?

I bought Gladiator 1 on 4/28/2020 I krunked on day two. Two months later dealership bought it back. I purchased another identical Overland and it krunked day one with 36 miles. They have had it ever since. My understanding is Jeep manufactured defective blocks at one plant. I think the defects stated showing up Aug 2019. Dealership said they are not sure if was improper piston ring assembly or defective cylinder walls.

Dealership said it was a robotic Assembly problem. They have replaced phaser cams sensors practically entire top of engine as well as reprogramming.

Dude at my local dealership is "tuning" the PCM and thinks that will be the fix for their second official attempt.

They have not made any physical changes to the vehicle or plan to. I should get it back tomorrow.

Anyone want to place odds on how long it lasts without getting the check engine light this time around?

Local dealer also said he has not heard "any" issues with buybacks or lemon lawing these new gladiators.

I should have put on my tall boots because that was pretty deep crap he was slinging.

Is the compression test the key to verifying the block is bad?

400 miles since last ESS and CEL—all w/ auto-stop/start turned off—and haven't had any (@!) or CEL since.

Really thinking this is a big-ol' bug with the auto-stop/start system.
