  1. Survey- For those with misfire issues

    I dunno-a replacement seems like a good fix. 🤷‍♂️
  2. Survey- For those with misfire issues

Looks like they are taking care of these on a case by case basis. 🤢🤮 Not fair-not fun-but it appears to be the reality. Good luck my friend. On the the upside it does look like they have a solution that’s working for some folks. I’ve had my silver-gray JT for about 10 months and I miss my...
  3. Survey- For those with misfire issues

I’ve been following this thread since April 2020. After three attempts to fix my JT I ended up telling the dealer I believed it was a lemon and he traded it with the exact same vehicle just different color. That was in July 2020. I have 7000 miles on the new JT and haven’t had any issues with it.
  4. Survey- For those with misfire issues

Wow! It’s been a while since I’ve been on this thread. I can’t believe this is still going on. I have about 3500 miles on Gladiator #2. No problems yet with this one. I’ve had it down at the Outer Banks twice on the off road beach. We just got back from OBX today been there for 3 days. I see a...
  5. Survey- For those with misfire issues

I’ve been following but have not posted in a while. My 2nd Gladiator now has right at 2000 miles on it and I haven’t had the first light or other problem yet. I rode 12 hrs in it last weekend and spent 2 hours on an ORV beach. This is a good sign except I’m seeing on the thread that there are...
  6. Survey- For those with misfire issues

Is it just me or is it starting to look like if the pandemic hadn’t happened then FCA would have kept right on producing bad Gladiator engines right up to this point. Like a year worth of screwed up cylinders?
  7. Survey- For those with misfire issues

I got the exact same thing multiple service “@!“ lights and then I wrote the service manager at the dealership who said it was probably the auxiliary battery. Then I took it in and of course they couldn’t duplicate the problem and the auxiliary battery had plenty of charge “but we topped it off...
  8. Survey- For those with misfire issues

On my first Glad for most of the time I owned it I ran it WITHOUT the ESS permanently disabled. Sometime I used the button on the dash sometimes I ran it normally and let the ESS shut the engine down but no aftermarket parts of any kind. After the 4th repair when I got the PCM flash according to...
  9. Survey- For those with misfire issues

I hope that works out for you.
  10. Survey- For those with misfire issues

What’s weird is my second Glad is 12/14 at 12am. I have over 1200 miles and not one light yet. I keep following this thread because I’m waiting for it around 8000 miles.
  11. Survey- For those with misfire issues

Oh, I thought since JeepCares was all over this it was somehow associated with FCA. My bad.
  12. Survey- For those with misfire issues

I bet FCA knows. So how long until FCA shuts down this thread? Soon it will become a liability about how much they knew about this problem while they’ve been yanking everyone around. We should start an FB page off this forum before FCA shuts the thread down. Members of a FB group could only be...
  13. Help!!!! I need moral support!

There’s probably a shortage of 3.6Ls because they are replacing the ones that are jacked up on the current JTs with bad cylinders causing multiple misfires and ASS lamps.
  14. Survey- For those with misfire issues

12-19 Manufactured in Mexico. looked back over my photos and can’t find a pic that tells me the hour. Since I traded my first Glad I can’t look at the original plate.
  15. Survey- For those with misfire issues

So looks like all the Gladiators on this thread have build dates between September 2019 and February 2020 with the majority falling between October 2019 and December 2019 and were built in Mexico.
  16. Survey- For those with misfire issues

That’s interesting. Mine (#2) has the same build date as my first-Dec 2019. It has about 1200 miles and no lights yet but I thought I heard that same ticking that I heard in the first Gladiator I owned. I might just be paranoid or-if the cylinder walls are bad-maybe it’s just waiting to have a...
  17. Survey- For those with misfire issues

That’s sad-not “boo boo” sad but piss poor customer service sad.
  18. Survey- For those with misfire issues

Welcome to the club. You’ll have to go back and read through the thread. It seems from the collective experience recorded here that you’re kind of at the mercy of the dealership. FCA isn’t going to do much unless lemon law forces them to buy it back. If you have a reputable dealer who values...
  19. Survey- For those with misfire issues

It’s more like they are aware of how pissed off you’re gonna be because they know it’s not fixed. They want you to think they actually did something. Get ready for that sinking feeling-looks like the only way through this is through some major replacement of half or all of the engine or a brand...
