3.5 and 37s should give you plenty of ground clearance for sure. As for the regear, I have only driven in a 4.88 regeared Glad and it brought the mpg back up and felt as peppy as stock.
37x12.50’s on Rubicon wheels. Added some height over the stock setup. No lift yet but no issues so far. I work in construction and usually end up on job sites with no roads and need for some clearance.
37s on Max Tow here. Took a hit on mpg going from 35s to 37s (18 mpg to 16) but no other change. Def recommend a lift even a minor one (such as the level kits) if you have the Sport. No issues so far on 37s and put about 2k miles a month. My driving includes short city trips and also 5+ hour...
Dang than you do have a twin riding around the DFW Area. Now that I look closer I think they had a different set of rims 😜. Either way both of yall have some beautiful rigs 🍻
Looks amazing and Clayton makes some quality parts. What shocks did you end up going with? Also, happen to have the height or the rig with lift and tires?
Had 315/70 before switching over to 37s on my max tow with zero issues. I had enough clearance to drive around sketchy construction sites with no impact. If you were going to do some moderate to challenging trails I would say get a spacer or lift. Even on 37s I have no issue with daily driving...
@Shane….I had zero issues with 35s. No issues with 37s but decided to that route for aesthetics. Once I get the lift I will be more confident about hitting the trails but for every day driving 37s are no issue.
Completely stock Max Tow with 37x12.50r17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on OEM Rubi wheels. No issues so far including driving all over muddy and primitive construction sites since we are one of the first trades out doing work. Planning to add a lift or spacer at some point but for every day driving...
Though not ideal for trails the look of the Glads on 37s with no lift has grown on me. Your rig looks so clean and well put together. I do agree that so far that the Arcus Bumper fits best on our rigs. Well done.
Btw, hope i didnt miss it, what lift are you going with?
2020 Max Tow on 37s (stock Rubicon wheels) probably 60% highway/40% city….averaging 16-17 mpg. In the highway im typically cruising at around 70-75. Drive all over TX for work.
No issues for me…37x12.50r17s on stock Max Tow. I do have the upgraded Steering TSB done. It’s noticeably different than my 35 setup but not difficult at all.
Quadratec and other companies offer liner replacements if thats the part you are referring to BryanG. As far as the bolts most people ditch them and get guides like the ones i posted about above...
Rugged Ridge was also an option I am looking at as its within my budget as well.
Thanks to everyone so far on the feedback 🙏🏾.
I wonder if there would be any interference with the DNA one if adding a bed rack system? Looks like the unit is pretty wide from the pictures.
I am currently doing some research on the different brands like:
