  1. Let’s see your pets cause they are the best companion you can have!!!!!

Two American black Labrador retrievers: littermates that turned 2yo this July 4th. They love the gladiator.
  2. tailgate pads for bikes?

Well, that Yakima Gatekeeper is good, but not perfect. The width is just right; it’s a little wider on the outside of the tailgate as compared to the inside. There is no extra fabric to deal with. The “g-hooks” that hold the bike down tube work great. But here’s the weakness: the pad’s flap /...
  3. How are you guys locking bikes in your tailgate?

Great idea. I’m in. How long is that cable? I’m guessing about ten feet is needed to get a loop all the way around.
  4. tailgate pads for bikes?

I just ordered the new (2022 release) Yakima Gatekeeper size Medium. I’m hoping that it works the way I expect. Every other pad I considered has some downside. Some of them block the camera or the third brake light. Others block the tailgate handle! Some of them are “tall” meaning that there...
  5. Gupton Motors up to 8% below invoice

I had a similar issue getting their initial attention. Someone advised putting “gladiator forum order” in the subject line. That did the trick for me. Things moved very fast after that.
  6. MY22 Only - Anyone moved to D1?

hey there - I agree that this is not normal. I ordered (also Gupton) on Nov 6 and my JT was delivered to his dealership on Dec 16. I looked through your build sheet. One thing that you ordered that I did not is the diesel. Mine is a Mojave. There was a prior thought on the forum that slush mats...
  7. SARGE GREEN Gladiator club

looking GREAT! Thanks for posting. I might follow your lead with these same AEV and KO2 37’s when the time comes.
  8. Hard Top

I just picked up my 2022 JTM last week, with the factory freedom hard top, and with the Mopar head liner, and cold weather package. This is my first Jeep. I am up in Northern VT this weekend, where it’s -18 F today. The drive up here was comfortable though; I was really surprised how well that...
  9. Gupton Motors up to 8% below invoice

Yes; I picked up my Gladiator this past Thursday and they did honor the Tread Lightly additional 1 percent off. I had forgotten to print the number (and had only written it down) but they were kind enough to let me login there and print a new one. The whole process was smooth. No BS.
  10. Gupton Motors up to 8% below invoice

One of the technicians in the service department was interested in the original tires, and we worked out a deal. I know that other forum members brought their original tires home, or sold them on the way.
  11. Gupton Motors up to 8% below invoice

I ordered a bunch or Mopar stuff with my Gladiator through Gupton (headliner, sills, tonneau cover, bedliner). They also accommodated my request to move up to 35’s right off the bat. The service guy (Matt) was super helpful. I think they are pretty busy so it’s hard for them to get a lot done...
  12. Gupton Motors up to 8% below invoice

You got it buddy. I’m booked for the first flight to Nashville in the morning. I’ll do my best to find your truck at Gupton and get some pictures for you.
  13. SARGE GREEN Gladiator club

Looking great! Please please please post some photos of your JT with those new AEV wheels. I’m considering the same if I go up in size. Do you know what the weight difference will be between the OEM wheel and the AEV wheel?
  14. SARGE GREEN Gladiator club

Yes; that’s right. Those are the stock wheels (17 by 7.5). The tire that is on there now is taller and also wider than the OEM Wildpeak. A lot of tire manufacturers list the recommended rim width online. And yes, Toyo would advise a wider rim for this particular tire (8.0 rim width minimum). But...
  15. SARGE GREEN Gladiator club

Will do, as soon as I pick her up this Thursday! LMK if you want any particular angles etc. I also thought of going to 37 (such as the BFG KO2 which are a bit smaller diameter than a lot of the other 37’s). I still might do it someday but the possible issues of rubbing (with no lift) and the...
  16. Jeep ceo…. Wants zero emission freedom brand

I think that most people do charge their EVs at home overnight. I do. It’s become a habit kind of like charging my phone overnight. Simple. The car doesn’t need to be charged every though. I do it maybe one or two times a week. It’s way more convenient than going to a gas station and way cheaper...
  17. So what did you name your Gladiator?

Love it - Groot is on the list!
  18. Gupton Motors up to 8% below invoice

I have not read or heard of anyone that had a negative experience with Gupton. I have read a lot of positive comments. The most negative thing I read is that they are busy with a lot of internet sales and may not be able to do a lot of customer hand holding. I placed my order with Daniel Gupton...
  19. Gupton Motors up to 8% below invoice

Yup - definitely an amazing thread, and a very influential one, at least for me. Like you, I could not find much below MSRP in my area. And like a lot of other people on the forum, I bought a Gladiator from Daniel Gupton himself. I ordered my JTM exactly the way I wanted it, on Nov 6, and it...
  20. Just got tires for Christmas!! Help me pick wheels.

I’d keep the stock wheels. They look good in my opinion, and will look great with those new tires. It will save you some money obviously. Changing the tires alone can really be transformative.
