My Galdiator is up For Sale. We bought a new house and we are looking to streamline our expensives. I have a post in the "For Sale" section of the forum. 2021 Mojave with 16,600 miles............Asking $64,900.
  2. California 2021 Mojave on 40's For Sale

*2021 Mojave For Sale* ($64,900) I need to switch gears for the time being after buying a new home and so my beloved HydroBlue Mojave on 40's is up For Sale. I built this Gladiator to not only be a great desert runner, but also an incredible rock crawler and daily driver. It has 16,600 miles on...
  3. Clayton Off Road JT Suspension Systems

JK Gear and Gadgets is a big reason I pulled the trigger on the 3.5" Overland Plus lift. I've been extremely happy with this lift running 40's and using it as a rock crawler. Get flex, beefy, and quiet. I'm happy to hear your continuing to work with Ben.
  4. Building a Mojave on 40's

So after the Rubicon Trail I decided I wanted to gain more ground clearance in the rear. Since I don't want to "Bob" the truck bed I decided to chop the sheet metal and gain clearance that way. After cutting the 4" off the lower rear truck bed sides my Artec bumper was just too big so I sold it...
  5. Bed Chop / DIY Bumper

Thanks for the reply. Currently no plans for the rear bed side panels although I like the idea.
  6. Bed Chop / DIY Bumper

Thanks for the reply. Currently I have no plans for some sliders in that area but I like the idea. I'm hoping since its now 4" higher than before and the frame actually hangs lower than the sheet metal that I might be ok.
  7. Bed Chop / DIY Bumper

I wanted to do a tube that wraped around to the rear fender but we didn't have a tube bender and I was in a bit of a hurry. I'll attch a picture of a guy who did something similar to what you mentioned. The license plate bracket is from EVO.
  8. Bed Chop / DIY Bumper

That video is where I got the idea to do this project. Thank you for sharing!
  9. Bed Chop / DIY Bumper

So I finally got around to doing a modification that was risky but I love the result. I decided to cut the lower sheet metal off the rear sides of the Gladiator in order to gain more clearance and create a nice clean line off the rear fender. This modifcation gained me 4" of clearance on the...
  10. Mounting up a RotoPax

I went with JCR and love the function and look.
  11. Building a Mojave on 40's

Video is 2 Gladiator Mojaves completing the Soup Bowl obstacle on the Rubicon trail. Both Mojaves are on a 3.5" lift and 40's. The White Mojave has a front and rear locker and the Blue Mojave has only a rear locker
  12. Video - Mojaves doing Soup Bowl on Rubicon Trail

Video is 2 Gladiator Mojaves completing the Soup Bowl obstacle on the Rubicon trail. Both Mojaves are on a 3.5" lift and 40's. The White Mojave has a front and rear locker and the Blue Mojave has only a rear locker.
  13. Building a Mojave on 40's

Yes / They are the 17x9 with -12mm offset (5x127 pattern) and my 40x13.5 tires stick out about 3" beyond the fenders,
  14. My 2022 Hydro Blue Mojave Log - Jack of All Trades

I'm running 5.13 gears which works out prefect. Originally I lost 7th and 8th gear on the 40's before the re-gear. Now I have plenty of pepp and all my gears back. I also tow a 4400lb travel trailer and it does well with that also. Daily Driving MPG average with 40's and 5.13's is about 12-13MPG.
  15. Gladiators in the Wild / AKA the Rubicon Trail

The Sting Gray JTR is on 37's with a 3.5" lift and had no problems going through the trail. He did opt not to try the Soup Bowl or Old Sluice. The other Jeeps in the group were on 40's. My Blue Gladiator was the only jeep without a front locker but it didn't stop me from doing anything.
  16. My 2022 Hydro Blue Mojave Log - Jack of All Trades

You have a great build going on there. I just spent a good bit of time reading over all the posts. I really like what you did inside the bed with all that organized storage. I'm partial to the Blue Mojave myself.
  17. Gladiators in the Wild / AKA the Rubicon Trail

5 Jeeps (3 Gladiators and 2 JK's) took on the Rubicon Trail this last week (July 26-29th). We drove up on a Sunday from Southern California, stayed in Georgetown and hit the trail Monday morning at the Loon Lake entrance. We spent 3 days / 2 nights on trail. All 5 Jeeps made in through with...
  18. Building a Mojave on 40's

I use 2 ratchet straps criss cross pattern. I also have a lock that wraps aroung the tire to prevent theft.
  19. Building a Mojave on 40's

Yep, its actually easier than a 37"-40" tire on the rear of Wrangler. All I have to do is get it on the tailgate and then it just pivots and slides aross the rack. With my Wrangler I had to lift a heavy tire and try to line up the lugs on the rear tire carrier which was a pain in the butt.
  20. Building a Mojave on 40's

The actual trusses are cheap. I believe the front was like $130 and the rear was like $100. My buddy is a very good welder so he did it for free although as a thank you I bought him the same trusses for his gladiator so my total cost was $460. Another friend of mine with a gladiator bought the...
