I use 2 ratchet straps criss cross pattern. I also have a lock that wraps aroung the tire to prevent theft.

Yes / They are the 17x9 with -12mm offset (5x127 pattern) and my 40x13.5 tires stick out about 3" beyond the fenders,

I like the lower offset of your wheels; it provides a clean aesthetic. I also really like that you kept the stock inner fender.
Do you have any interference/rubbing issues during turning and articulation?

Video is 2 Gladiator Mojaves completing the Soup Bowl obstacle on the Rubicon trail. Both Mojaves are on a 3.5" lift and 40's. The White Mojave has a front and rear locker and the Blue Mojave has only a rear locker

So after the Rubicon Trail I decided I wanted to gain more ground clearance in the rear. Since I don't want to "Bob" the truck bed I decided to chop the sheet metal and gain clearance that way. After cutting the 4" off the lower rear truck bed sides my Artec bumper was just too big so I sold it and decided to fabricate a more High & Tight style bumper that still had a tow hitch. A buddy and I spent 2 days cutting the Jeep and making the new bumper. We used 3x4 (3/16 thick) steel tube for the bar, 1/4" plate steel to make brackets, added heavy duty shackles and a heavy duty tow hitch. Here are some pictures of the final product and look.

I think this is the route I need to go. Love the look! Since I have no fabrication skills I was thinking that the EVO high N tight rear bumper would complete the mod.

The Diff Cover is much thicker and stonger than the factory stamped steel cover. Since the differential is a low point on the Jeep when Off-Roading it takes lots of hits from rocks. It can take a lot of abuse plus the mounting lip is much thicker so it won't peel back if caught on a rock. Lastly, the added strength and thickness stiffens the axle housing which helps reduce deflection which makes the gears happy.

On the Teraflex Diff Covers they also have recessed bolts that dont get smashed with rocks plus a large fill / inspection port at the top which most don't offer. At $171 dollars each on sale it was cheap insurance.

Most of the axle strength I added was the front and rear trusses. The combination of trusses with the HD Diff Covers is just a smart pairing. From here if I need more strength it will probably be Dana 60 axles.

I'm about to leave to pick up a set of these from the Jacksonville, FL 4-Wheel parts Northern location. Would you still recommend these covers? How's the clearance from the tie-rod?
