  1. Building a Mojave on 40's

I'm feeling good about my Axle situation at the moment. I always felt confident with the strength of these latest generation Dana 44's on my Mojave but now I have more confidence having added front and rear Artec trusses and some very HD Teraflex diff covers. I head out to the Rubicon Trail in...
  2. How low (PSI) do you drop your tires?

I go down to 12psi on the rocks and I'm typically around 14psi on desert trails. I don't have beadlocks.
  3. PRP Seat Covers for the Mojave

Yeah....I've always liked PRP and it came as a huge surprise when I found out they were a local company to my city in Temecula. They were super cool to work with, everything is made in-house. I don't know if they sell the headrest covers separate but I wouldn't be surprised. Might try giving...
  4. Second Hand JT

Very happy with mine. The wireless remote works very well and the fit and finish is great.
  5. PRP Seat Covers for the Mojave

Correct.....They use a marine grade vinyl which I personally like even more than the leather because I Off-Road a lot and these are incredibly easy to clean (just wipe them down). I wanted leather from the factory but I'm 110% happy with this choice.
  6. PRP Seat Covers for the Mojave

So when I purchased my Gladiator Mojave one of the things I wanted most but didn't get when I purchased it was leather seats. I thought about going with Katzkin Leather aftermarket but I really liked the idea of going with PRP seats for a number of reasons. First of they are about half the price...
  7. MOJAVE Edition Gladiator JT Club

Figured now that most of the exterior mods are complete (still can't decide what direction to go with the fenders) I would update the page. The Jeep isn't this clean all that often so I snapped some pictures. The latest additions have been the rear bumper from Artec and the Business Logo racing...
  8. Building a Mojave on 40's

I personally don't like the extra bulk a skid plate or bumper extension or even a full bumper wrap around looks. Its too much in my opinion (kind of like a full width front bumper vs mid-width vs stubby). I also know of a few cases where the factory Rubicon skids in that section get pushed up...
  9. Building a Mojave on 40's

I found some online build plans to build door storage racks from PVC. This DIY rack took me about 1-2 hours to build and cost around $100 in parts. The rack holds my tube doors curently but will soon be ready to hold the full jeep doors with the nice weather we're having in Southern California.
  10. Building a Mojave on 40's

I've had a front and rear Artec truss sitting in the garage for a while. Finally had a little time to get the rear installed the other day with the help of a friend with a welder. Nice to have that added strength to the Dana 44. The other quick upgrade done that day some to add some...
  11. Building a Mojave on 40's

So its been a little bit between posts and upgrades but during that time I've been on a few Off-Road trips up in Big Bear. The Jeep continues to preform very well completing a lot of the extreme trails up there (Dishpan / Holcomb / John Bull). The biggest component taking a beating on the Jeep...
  12. Second Hand JT

That looks so good. I'm becoming a huge fan of the Steel-It look. Congrats on an awesome upgrade to an already great looking Jeep.
  13. Second Hand JT

Nothing better than over delivering on the timeframe. Hope you love it and I'm excited to see what it looks installed on your Gladiator.
  14. Building a Mojave on 40's

Thanks for the kind words. I get an astounding 12-13 MPG. To add more salt in the wound I live in SoCal where gas is close to $6 a gallon.
  15. Gladiator Mojave on 40's in Sand Hollow, UT (Video)

Sorry I missed this post. I just went out and measured......I'm 26" to the bottom of my rock sliders and I'm 13" to the bottom of my diff.
  16. JT Pritchett Canyon Front Bumper

Very happy with the SuperWinch. It has a very smooth clutch and the wireless remote works great. I owned a Warn VR Evo before this and they are similar in quality.
  17. JT Pritchett Canyon Front Bumper

Always happy to be a bad influence when it comes to Jeeps. Congrats on the purchase, make sure to post up some pictures once you have it.
  18. Building a Mojave on 40's

Thanks for the kind words. The Cooper's are doing great so far. They hook up well on the rocks and so far I don't have any chunking on the lugs. They are louder than other MT's I've run in the past but nothing that bothers me personally. I would recommend them to others.
  19. Building a Mojave on 40's

The Mojave platform utilizes M14 bolts for All shocks both front and rear / top and bottom from what I remember.
  20. Building a Mojave on 40's

All JT's (except the Mojave M14) run M12 bolts in the front shock mounts. All JT's run M14 bolts in the rear. Hope that helps and makes sense.
