These doors take the 03-06 TJ style mirror. The mirror itself is solid but the tube door has a light flutter at highway speed so the mirrors to shake a little bit.
The bumper / winch didn't cause any noticeable droop in the front and I was able to keep the stock Mojave skid plate. The bumper has great welds and is super simple to install. The recessed winch was a must for me.
Today I received front and rear tube doors. They are Quadratec brand and front and rear cost $799 plus another $89 for side mirrors (haven't arrived yet). I really like the look of these doors and install was simple. My only gripe would be the bumpstop adjusters to stop rattles are too short so...
Thanks for the complement......My friend Dave put together one really cool video. I just did the easy part which was drive the Jeep.
The axles are stock but I did re-gear to 5.13's
Thanks, the tailights look so much better and are much brighter comparied to my original ones.
The Apex Steering Booster is 10x better than stock but the PSC is 10x better than the Apex. For the price paid (around $380) I'm very happy with the upgrade. I've run a few difficult rock trails...
I almost forgot I also added some lower control arm skids and rear shock skids. The rear lower control arm bracket at the frame seems to be the low hanging fruit I always hit so I ordered some skids from Rusty's OffRoad. I had my buddy weld these on when he welded the tabs for my limit straps...
A few more upgrades to share now that I've been rock crawling a few times in the Mojave. On my first local trial I found out that I have more droop than my rear springs could handle and both my springs became unseated. Before I took the jeep to Utah for a extended offroading trip I knew I needed...
The sliders are the Quadratec Brute Strength Sliders. They are pretty much what you described. They attach to the factory locations, come out about 3inches to provide a step, but aren't overly thick or heavy like other sliders. I'm very happy with them although I'm hard on sliders so we'll see...
Yes and No. I've done both in stockish Wranglers but the Mojave wheelbase on 33's might be a challenge. In my opinion still capable as long as you don't mind possible (likely) trail rash on your wheels and underbelly.
