When it’s cold out the brake doesn’t have the same resistance when it engages/disengages-in the latest case it was 10-20 F and in a few feet of snow. Once the truck was running for a bit and warming up it behaved normally. Back home, where temps don’t get below 30-40 F and no snow, do not see...
I had a JKUS and JLUR prior to the gladiator, they occasionally sat for anywhere from a few weeks to a few months on occasion for various reasons and always started without issue-JLUR was 4 years on original batteries as well.
given my positive experience I am wondering what others might be...
Remember Sparkomatic?
Being serious, that is a pretty tough question - there is a lot of great stuff out there. A short conversation with an installer will definitely get you in direction of good.
My 1st tank was 14 ish mpg, gradually have gone to high 18s to low 19s over 10k miles with the 3.6 in Mojave trim. Usually have 20 mph headwinds for 1/2 of my 100 mile daily commute, 50% freeway at 75 and the rest on backroads.

That's a better deal than I made here in SoCal, totally worth it. I'm also very self aware once I get a crush on a car or truck the period of pragmatic and reasonable thought goes to obsession...in other words a car sales persons dream! Safe travels where you go-
