I have a (February) 2022 Mojave and I got my July Vehicle Health report from Mopar yesterday and it says: "Based on your Vehicle Data we predict you will need a battery soon". (And then offers a link to schedule service)...Does anyone know how Mopar can tell I "need a battery soon", and should I take this notice seriously?
Where do you think the Vehicle Health Reports come from? MOPAR monitors all the systems in the JT and generate the reports. By various things showing up in what they monitor, they can tell your battery(s) are getting weak and not taking a full charge.

You can change the batteries yourself soon, or wait until she croaks and do it then.

Sounds bazar. I have never had a car battery that only lasted 2 and a half years and I have been driving for 50 years now.

My 2020 just went 4 weeks without starting, and it fired right up.

I had a JKUS and JLUR prior to the gladiator, they occasionally sat for anywhere from a few weeks to a few months on occasion for various reasons and always started without issue-JLUR was 4 years on original batteries as well.

given my positive experience I am wondering what others might be doing differently. One difference maybe that whenever i get in to go it’s going to be at least a 100 mile day.

The biggest difference is the heat in the engine bay that cooks the batteries. The JL/JT have computers that never turn off. The ones that are remote features capable have a cellular equipped head unit that never turns off. If they are not driven enough to overcome the daily draw and keep the batteries charged, the life expectancy of the batteries decreases.

I keep both JT’s plugged in to battery tenders all the time. Probably time to replace the Rubicon being a 2021 but as long as they are plugged in, the ESS works fine which is an easy indicator of battery health. It is also quickly shut off as it can be annoying.

What’s work?
I have Willys so I’m lucky to have seats and heater, probably not the best example but it’s sat for month or more since I’ve had it here and there no issues. Some cats are talking about keep alive components so yeah wouldn’t be surprised. Parasitic draws add up fast and on older batteries adds up faster.

How old are the batteries?
Does it have a cellular equipped (remote features capable) head unit?
The batteries are OEM - we bought the truck in May of 2020. It's a stock Sport S with the small screen radio.

I got my Rubicon in July ‘19. haven't driven it in the winter to keep the salt off of it. Sits beginning of Dec thru end of April. No bet tender, no charging, has always started right up.
Just replaced my OEM Aux battery this year……

There's a lot of misinformation out there.

Sitting idle should consume less than 1% per day of battery capacity. Base vehicle Ignition-OFF Draw is specified at less than 25mA. Self discharge and a couple of other items should only amount to low single digit milliamps. Call it 30mA tops, 0.72Ah per day max, less than 1% of rated capacity. On my Sport, it's less than half that, about 0.4% per day. That's with the keyfob left inside, in case you think that matters.

Don't believe any State of Charge estimate based on voltage. That includes your charger when it says 50% after the vehicle has been sitting a week. It's lying. If you monitor the charge delivered you'll find the battery will only accept a few amp-hours of charge, probably less than 10% of rated capacity, before it's "full".

As for the OP's question, it should be fine left sitting for a couple weeks every now and then, as long as you charge it fully afterwards. But if this is routine then get some sorter of automatic charger.

I have a 21 Max Tow with just over 20,000 miles that has sat for over a month on many occasions ( I own two other vehicle) and so far I've never had an issue.
