Is the rear camera that comes with i07 waterproof for exterior mounting? If not, which rear camera is good for that? Unfortunately, I’m not interested in a rear view mirror mounted dash camera.

I've had a G900 for a while. Overall I liked it when I had it in my Tacoma. Picture is great, touchscreen works well. I haven't installed it in the Jeep yet, but I will once I finish the bed rack enclosure.

Theres really only two gripes I have with it;

1) I wish there was a better disconnect system for the rear camera so it was easier to swap between the vehicle camera and a trailer camera. Even a longer cord off the camera would help with this, as the current cord isn't long enough if mounted on a topper or rack system.

2) Display brightness is TOO BRIGHT at night, even on the lowest setting. I have to shut it off completely. It's simply too bright, it lights up the entire cab and causes light blindness and is too difficult for your eyes to adjust when looking back and forth from the mirror to the road. There really needs to be a lower display brightness setting for night driving. I've tried various static cling and stick on tints, but I haven't been able to find that perfect percentage thats dark enough for night time but not too dark for daytime.
Thanks for your support! Which model do you have?

Q1: we have extension cables for rear cam. You can choose one suits you best.
Q2: you can enable screen saver mode when driving at night. Our engineers are improving products. Thanks for your feedback.

Cheers! 🍻

Looking at the G900 Pro. I'm a little confused as to what comes with it. What other accessories do I need to order? THe OEM mirror bracket and the wiring kit for the park monitoring?
Yes, bracket and harwire kit are recommended. We have two brackets, OEM and center console bracket. You may also need an extension cable since the original one is 20ft. All accessories compatible with G900 Pro is here.

Thanks for your interest and support, my friend🍻

I put a G900 in my Jeep few months ago and overall it's not bad. My only issue is that the power button rattles like crazy. I had to put a tape over it. Additionally, the front camera will be partially blocked if you have the auto cruise control. The housing blocks a good portion of the picture. Still usable but not ideal.
Thanks for your feedback. Do you know that the front cam is rotatable and you can adjust the angle by sliding up and down on the screen? What about trying our center console bracket?

Has anyone run these on a Gladiator without a rack or camper shell? I take my camper shell off in the summer, I don't know where I'd mount the rear camera.

Does the mirror tie into the factory rear camera?

WELCOME to the Club and thanks for extending the discount offer. I'll shoot you a DM as I need some insight for the Dashcam, Rearview Cam and Front Approach Cam set ups.

Here's the Rig for reference:

Sorry, the rear cam of i07 is not waterproof. The rear cams of other mirror dash cams are waterproof.

I have the G900 4k/2.5k

I've looked at the extension cables, but they would have left me with way more cable wrapped up than I liked. I ended up splicing a 4-wire weather tight connector near my trailer harness plug. This way I can just unplug the truck camera and plug in the trailer camera right in the same spot as my other trailer wiring. It worked slick.

Regarding screen saver mode, I just push the button on the bottom to turn the display off, BUT I wish I didn't have to use screen saver mode or turn the display off, I'd rather leave it on. With our rigs we often times can't see out the rear view mirror, which is why we use these camera systems. More range when dimming the display would be a great addition, and if possible, the option to wire in auto-dimming at night when the headlights come on would be extra awesome.

Overall I love the G900. It takes some getting used to, but its awesome being able to see behind the trailer or a full pickup bed.

Many put it on the top of the third brake light.

The rear cam is plugged into the unit.

Do you have a Ram Mount adaptor for mounting on the dash?
Do you have a kit for an optional trailer mount for the rear cam that would allow tieing in a rear cam when towing a trailer, so you could swap from the rear vehicle view to the rear trailer view (not both at the same time)?

Thanks for the reply, however, the thrid brake light on the Gladiator on the tailgate so it doesn't fit there.
I see there is a rear cam included in the unit, I understand the camera that comes with the "mirror" plugs into the unit, but what about the rear camera that is already there from the factory, does that integrate with the mirror unit?

Hopefully I can answer these questions as well.

You can purchase a second camera and extension cable for the trailer, but there is no way to have both cameras available at the same time, it's one or the other. They don't have a solution for this, but you could, with some electrical knowledge (and likely voiding warranty), wire in a toggle switch to toggle between the two cameras. The cameras auto-connect when they receive power without needing to power cycle the mirror (at least on my G900).

Does not integrate with the factory cameras. With a little fabrication and modification you might be able to remove the factory camera and mount the Wolfbox camera in the factory spot, but since the factory camera points a little downwards and has more of a bubble wide angle lens, the FOV will probably be off.
