So I did a forum search and didn't see anything like I'm wondering here. For those that have used some kind of bedliner for their bumpers, what product did you use? Roll-on or or spray-on? Any comments on how it's holding up / appearance?

I've got 2 new bumpers to install and I think the one bumper's textured powder coat is questionable. I was thinking of preemptively just bed-lining both of them (mainly to avoid redoing if powder coat flakes out, but also, my Jeep OCD is kicking in, as the texture between the 2 bumpers doesn't match).

I had line x coat the bumper. High quality product and I thought the front bumper takes more abuse than any other part in my case

2 trains of thought here.
1) Get it done professionally and it may be harder and take more abuse. This is fine for most wheeling and they do look good.

2) since it’s already coated, just pick up some spray on from the auto parts store that is a normal kind of product. That way when you do bash it on the rocks and chip everything all to hell you can do a little sanding to even it out and recoat it on your own in your driveway for pennies.
