Just completed our 10 day trip living solely out of our trailer and rooftop tent. Trip consisted of several different camp spots, some provincial, some national park and some public land use areas. Absolute blast and learnt a bunch for next years trip (Yukon or NWT). Love the trailer but considering a Alu Cab or Rover King as it makes travelling a little easier from site to site. Favourite place of the entire trip was the Columbia Icefield followed by Jasper National Park. Enjoy the photos!

Fantastic. Great pictures. How many different places did you set up camp?

6 different places. Two were not even worth mentioning lol. One was a late night stop, woke up to squatters around us. Needless to say an adventure and we left after a quick bowl of cereal. Martha Lake outside Revelstoke BC was a winner too. Great camp spot to take out kids next year.

Look at OVRLND Camper. Yeah I know they are along ways away from you. But Jay and Maggie are spectacular to deal with.
Nice pictures ?

Big thanks to Overland X, lifestyle overland and a few other youtubers for the camp suggestions. Next up is the Yukon or NWT, maybe 2023 or 24’. But already considering an Alu Cab or Rover King rather than tow. Its tough, both setups have advantages.

Pictures look awesome.

I'm going to be doing a similar trip next month. Going to go up to Tofino B.C. then head out to Whistler, Jasper and Banff. I got my GFC that i will be camping out for most of the trip. Got a hotel in whistler since it's my midway and figured a good shower would be nice.

Any recommendations on places to see while up there? I got a list going, but if you were up there recently and it looks like you are in Whislter, i would love to get some more places to checkout!

Nice photos was all up in the Banff, Jasper region a few years ago for a few weeks. Man the icefield looks like it shrunk a bit since I was on it. Beautiful area. Did some whitewater on the Kicking Horse which was fantastic

100% stop at the Columbia Icefield and take a stroll through Jasper. Saw some massive bull Elk in the park which my wife has never seen. Banff was a gongshow as was Lake Louise so good luck on that one. We were basically escorted out of both places due to no parking. Jasper area was my favourite as it quieter and more tourist friendly if you dont like crowds. Lots of other stops and scenery along the way. Several stunning lakes! We live in Whistler so my advice is park early in the day lots and enjoy the village, lots to see and eat. Hit up the mountain and a hike at the top!

Yeah, i was going to hit up the icefields. They look awesome. I figured Lake Louise and the surrounding areas are going to be crazy busy. I got a campsite at Lake Louise, so i just plan on waking up early and walking over to Lake Louise hopefully be it gets too crazy. I figured it would be like when i go up to Yosemite, i always get up there before the tour buses come up and i've hiked all the spots and gone before lunchtime.

I got a hotel in whistler so i shouldn't have to worry about parking. But definitely going to check out the town and hike around. I'm soloing it this trip so i'm just going to go where ever looks cool and less crowded.

Looks like a great time. I can't wait until I get enough time to drive up there again. Beautiful scenery and great people. But until my wife and I retire and covid restrictions are lift will not be back. After being to Vancouver I will never go back to Seattle.

Camp at the icefields parking lot, yes its a parking lot but the views are stunning. My favourite night by far. Watched a house sized chunk of ice fall around 9am sipping coffee. It was breathtaking
