Hi Gladiator owners, this is Tecbaba!

We are preparing to develop new products in the near future and would like to survey Gladiator owners. Do you need new accessories? The products we have designed include Window Visor, Rear Backrest Mat, Hood Lift Support, Truck Cab Roof Protector, and Tailgate Extender. The following are reference pictures:

Window Visor - protect the side windows from rain and ultraviolet rays, and is made of PP plastic.

11 owners have participated in the voting. Thank you all for the feedback! It seems like the tailgate extender was a hit. We'll keep it in mind. :like:

My kids constantly dirty up the back of my cloth front seats with dirty shoes, cleats, etc.
Some kind of TPE protector would be great. Maybe tricky to mount. I don't want a bulky storage "tactical" thing. Something sleek, simple, and basically like slush mats but vertical, on the seat backs.

I have the mounted ratchet straps and love them. The fit and finish is great, have been looking at some of your other products as well

We're glad you like our product.;) For the front seats, we plan to develop a kind of carbon steel molle panel to increase in-car storage space and provide protection for them. However, it may take about six months before available.

In wish someone would make a Roof/windshield wind deflector like a lot of vehicles have. Kind of like a sunroof deflector. Something to deflect the wind upwards while the freedom top panels or soft top is open. If anybody knows of one let me know. I haven’t been able to find one.

Window visors and hood lift already have multiple other manufacturers. Why jump into an already crowded field and lower profit margins to compete?

There are also already other (better looking IMNHO) bed extenders. My issue with them as well as your prototype is they all seem to use ratchet straps to secure them. That is a simple, but clunky solution. If I'm spending hundreds of dollars on a simple bed extender, I want one to see someone come up with one that attaches securely without looking like a redneck universal one from JC Whitney.

I actually use my Gladiator as a truck, so those rear mats are interesting. Keep in mind that the same people who would be interested in buying them are the same people who are more likely to completely delete one or both rear seats. Meaning you should consider offering the 2 mats separately.

I really like the mat for the back seats. I often fold mine down to put things on top and always get the backs of the seats dirty.

I had a Ford Explorer SporTrac some time ago, and the factory bed extender was a thing of beauty. Here's a quick video showing the simplicity:
I wish the Gladiator had one that worked like this.

That IS slick, but I would like that more if it extended all the way to the rear of the tailgate, AND it locked down somehow. Even though it appears you cant lose it, it still would bounce around. I'm thinking something that locks into the tailgate, or at least top and bottom of the bed instead of just a hinge.

The in-the-bed-floor storage is pretty nice too. Obviously can't go too deep on a Jeep for offroad clearance and fuel tank etc, but something shallow and watertight for a high-lift and some recovery straps would still be nice.

It did lock down - there was a spring-loaded pin on each side that sat in the sidewall at the tailgate that you had to pull out to have it swing over. Then the pin re-engaged into the same hole, if I remember correctly. And removing it was pretty straight forward as well.

We hope consumers will have more choices. I'm sorry that the rear backrest mat probably cannot be sold individually, for our factory manufactures them as a complete set.
