My free year is up, I really don't care for Sirius at all.

My android is set up to automatically connect via BT and it pairs almost immediately. Every other BT enabled headunit I ever owned, including OEM (toyota) would automatically pair and play from the BT device on start up if that was your preference or if that was the last thing the head unit was doing prior to turning off the most recent time.

Uconnect jams XM down your throat and every single start up reverts back to it. Now, with no XM subscription, it defaults to ads for XM service.

Is there ANY WAY for it to just start playing from a BT source immediately. This is the worst. Please help.

Also, PSA, if you say you want to quit service, XM will give you 2 offers for a lower fee down to 5.99 a month before they accept your request to cancel. (via the text customer service)

Got $5.00 a month. I kept waiting and waiting and finally after several post cards and emails from them - they hit 5 bucks (of course the fees make it 6 something)
I've seen that issue as well - if the source isn't there the moment the radio fires up, it chooses Sirius.
IF I have a USB drive plugged into the port in the console, it starts playing that IF it was my last choice. But the pairing with a phone takes place later in the process so it doesn't see that as a source, so hits Sirius.

My wife's Jeeps have for years used her USB stick if that was her last used source. (prior versions of the Grand Cherokee had SD slots and it would choose that slot if it was the last thing she used)
So - apparently bluetooth items aren't seen until after the choice is made.

So any way to have it just switch automatically to BT once it finds it? Like making it the priority?

Mines always set to the radio. Haven't had any issues with that at all. Doesn't come up when I connect unless I choose it.

AAwireless on indiegogo is about $80 and seems to have good feedback right now.

Yeah mine in my challenger has never reverted to Sirius after the trial or even before I don’t think.

What does your system revert to if you turn off while connected to BT? Mine goes back to XM.

uconnect app comes up then it goes to the radio. Or if I had it on XM then I think it goes back to whatever was last used.

I never have a problem with the headunit connecting back to Spotify on my Android. If I've killed Spotify or rebooted for some reason, it can take a minute to get going again, but XM doesn't interfere with the process.

My biggest problem is my wife getting in first on the passenger side and her iPhone taking pole position!
