This might only be relevant to single digits of people (and/or obvious to others), but I thought I'd share:

I recently added a HornBlasters Safety Horn along with dual 2ga air tanks. As part of this project, I wanted a digital air pressure gauge in the cabin. For the mount, I went with https://bankspower.com/products/63371-idash-stealth-pods-18-jeep, and for the gauge https://www.summitracing.com/parts/dak-slx-19-1k. Full disclosure: that gauge is not meant for and does not fit properly in that mount. It is an extremely tight fit that requires caution to ensure the wires aren't pinched, along with sanding down of the ridges inside the mount (which are meant for pressure fitting the gauge in place).

Anyways, to tap for power, I went with https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08V4XFP24. During assembly, I realized/learned the 12v socket has an illumination wire (duh, it has a light ring) which I could use for the gauge (which supports dimming). After wiring it all up and securing everything in place (no going back), I realized that when (and only when) the illumination wire is hot the gauge does dim, but it flickers.

Thanks to a knowledgeable friend, we hypothesized that wire is sending a PWM signal since the interior lights have a dimmer functionality. Turns out...my dimmer was slightly below max. After cranking it up (not to the full brightness level, but the max of the dimming level), the flickering went away! So unfortunately the gauge can only support one "level" of dimming, but if someone encounters a similar issue...now you know.
