My 2020 Jeep Gladiator does not allow me to set a temperature. It only allows LOW temp or HIGH temp setting. If I try to set a temperature like 70 degrees, it goes directly to LOW.

I reported this issue to my dealer - Joey Accardi in South Florida when the car had approx 7000 miles and they have been trying to fix this problem for over 1 year. They have the factory involved and still no solution. They have replaced the main controller and the heat module more than once with no results.

The battery has never been disconnected and is in perfect condition. Does anyone have concrete advice on how to fix this???

Try a system reboot, disconnect both batteries for about ten minutes.

I will ask the Jeep dealer to try this. Where is the second battery?
With the gas engine, it is under the fuse box. With the diesel engine, it is under the main battery.

You can do it by disconnecting the two black cables from the top of the negative post on the main battery. Make sure they are separated and don't touch anything metal in the engine bay. Reconnect after about ten minutes and give it some time to boot up. The head unit can take up to 24 hours to fully recover after a power loss.

Be careful how you approach your dealership service department and how you word it. They usually do not take well to customer involved suggestions unless your steering the conversation to make them think they thought of it first. The nice ones will give you a placating smile but then do whatever they were planning to do next and ignore you.

If this is a warranty situation, they got to follow a script and steps spoon fed to them by corporate before independent thinking comes into play.

Bump!
This is happening to me as well. I can’t control the temp controls. It just shows it on the very bottom of low. Only way to adjust is to move the slider inside the temperature control screen in Uconnect.
