This older lady was sitting in a dealership for quite some time, with only 37 miles on her. I went to the dealer to look at some 2021s to replace my totalled Pearlescent White JTR, Gladys ... and I couldn't resist. Dealer had knocked the price down and after a lot of signing of papers, I have a new JTR. Gladys is missed but her spiritual sister will hopefully take me far.

Dealer added a spray-in liner, and did a good job. Came with:
  • body-colored Freedom top and fenders
  • premium LED
  • the Falken M/Ts (which feel rough compared to the ATs I had)
  • leather (not a fan but I'll deal)
  • cold weather, heated seats, remote strt
  • proximity entry
  • forward trail cam
  • tow package
  • aux switch package
  • advanced safety and super nanny extra safety (forward collision warning and adaptive cruise)
I miss the cargo rail and bed power. Standard bumper.

Ordered the MOPAR 2" lift and labor, included in the bill of sale so it will be insured. I have the Armorlite front + rear floor coverings coming. Will eventually replace the wheels and tires.

Congrats! Picking mine up next week and can't wait to start the build.
Start planning now and put in some orders for the things you need ASAP, so you can get right to tinkerin' :)

Update:
Today I ran the power and video cables for my Thinkware 1000 front and rear dash cams. I would have installed and hardwired them but I lost a few hours taking apart the center console, looking for some washers and bolts that got sucked down between the seat and console.

So yeah, learned how to take apart the center console today, and put it back together. Also learned I need some E14 female torx bits to remove the seats.

Installed my Vector Off-Road E-dock. Second time I've installed one and now that I have experience it took about 20 minutes.

Update: Picked up my Jewel at the dealer, they had completed the 2” MOPAR lift install. Looks great, handles great. Much more firm than stock. Also the dealer confirmed the leaking glass on the hard top and have ordered replacement glass.

Update: Pulled the carpet and put in the new Armorlite flooring, front and rear. The new flooring is beefy and the ride is definitely quieter. I’m a fan. Will be even better once I install the Hotheads headliner.

I’m not thrilled about the routing of the winch power so I haven’t finalized the wiring yet. But it will be w/ solenoid interrupt kit.

Was the armorlite sound reduction really significant or mildly? I have the hot heads liner and just wondering if this armorlite is really worth the cost, I am not as concerned about the mud and such right now.

It was pretty significant. With the Armorlite the noise from the MT tires went away (with the windows up).

Installed the factory baby bumper LED fog lights in my MetalCloak bumper. There are approximately 32,000 bolts and fasteners you have to remove to get to the OEM cabling to re-use it.

Also, finally installed the Rugged Ridge Armis hard rolling tonneau cover. It’s an easy install if you’re smart and clean and re-tap the bed liner out of the screw holes. Which I didn’t do. Seriously, it was a long painful process of buying the wrong tap set a few times (pro-tip: you need metric and SAE as some are M6 and some are #8-32).
