2020 Rubicon with 2" Rusty's Advanced lift and 37x12.50r17 tires, manual transmission, 10k miles. Makes a metallic clunking noise that sounds like it is coming from under the cab near my feet when transferring power on upshift or even without clutch when suddenly apply power in the same gear (seems to rule out clutch, clutch linkage, driver error --driving M/T since the 1990s). Doesn't seem to do it on down shifts. Seems like its "unloading" and clunking on power input. Been aligned, axles centered, tightened/torqued everything (on ground after install), u-joints are tight, no obvious contacting items/clearance issues, no play at the front or rear pinion, shocks are tight at top and bottom. Only thing with play or movement up front is the factory (junk) drag link but that's not new, it was like that when I bought it. Anyone experience anything like this? I know the lift introduces a new variable but looking to see if anyone has had something similar or ideas on the issue. PFA. thanks!
