First thought my english skills are not sufficient to understand the post #1 ...
My impression, which may be mistaken, but so far is holding up, is that people born and educated on "English" in non-USA countries actually have a better understanding of the language than WE do here.
For some reason, people from Russia, Germany and Korea seem to have a better mastery of the English language than those born and educated in the USA.
I have no idea what that has to do with Jeeps or this being the last Jeep someone will ever own, but there it is.

If my current Gladiator is the last Jeep I'll ever own, it will only be because finances will leave me unable to afford a future version.

OK, so what was the topic again?

You should get a Wagoneer. I hear they're easy to work on.

This guy remembers. 12/12K was also the standard warranty for bumper to bumper and powertrain.

Every 30K miles was a major service of tires, shocks, diff fluids and transmission. Keeping a piece of Detroit iron past 100K was a major gamble and they all pissed or leaked some fluid by then.

Remember my parents then new Plymouth Valiant and dad having always a spare electronic ignition module in trunk because it ate them like candy every 12K miles or so.
Only had 1 module fail (1987 Ramcharger) but I did always keep a spare ballast resistor in every Mopar I owned that had one.

That was a very common point of failure. The wire-wound resistor and the heat cycles.......
Make sure you had the correct version for your vehicle - single or double.
For some reason, Mopar were the worst in that area.

As far as I can remember, it was that "the Gladiator is a vehicle which is extremly bad designed, manufactured and serviced". Or so. As far as I understood.

I have joined this community because I really like my Gladiator and hope that, if there are problems, will get some support.

And if I would be fed up with my car, for whatever reasons, I would not post this in a Gladiator enthusiast forum ...

Exactly. To learn as much as possible, and if there are issues I've not previously dealt with in other experiences, or that are or may be unique to the Gladiator, seek support (such as the backup camera going blank - found out from members - check connector at rear of the bed - bingo!)

And if I would be fed up with my car, for whatever reasons, I would not post this in a Gladiator enthusiast forum ..
I would only - if - I could lay out specific reasons and approach it as "show me wrong"

but otherwise, most likely would give a short farewell, "it didn't work out, moving on to a Prius for obvious reasons" (and then never ever look back for responses ? )

OP has not been back since he posted.

Took a shit on the carpet and left.
On the shag carpet! He could have walked through it and tracked it all over. He did us a favor and left it piled right here.

I really hate it when someone has such a horrible experience like the OP had. Had he only came here first with his problems, maybe it wouldn't have turned out to leave a bad taste in his mouth.

That's a good thought.
approach each issue, one at a time, and see if there's any resolution or work-arounds or at least get some information or ideas.

But then - 10 to 15 different issues he could have had a great start with a number of threads.
