Hey Gang,

I just got a 2022 Rubicon to replace my Wrangler. I never upgraded the tires on the Wrangler, but want to go larger on the JT. It has 3.0 Diesel, 3.73 gears, towing package. I'm looking to go to Fuel wheel (made in USA unlike AEV) and either 35x12.50 or 37x12.5 Bf Goodrich KO2s. Will be a mall crawler, 25 foot bay boat hauler with some forays onto fire roads and the beach.

Comments? Complaints? Criticism? I'm torn about offset and how well the 37s will work on a stock Rubi suspension, but it does seem to sit higher than the Wrangler Rubicon to me.

Thanks in advance for your expertise and Happy Easter

AEV may not be made in USA but are fantastic and offered with the correct offset for the JT to allow larger tires to clear properly under the fenders. Something to consider

It will pull 37's or 35's fine with stock gearing. 35's will fit with no lift and 37's will be fine with a leveling kit unless you want to go more depth into mods. If you are towing heavy I would suggest the 35's though. Take a look at the "Let's see those lifted Gladiators with bigger tires" thread for ideas.

Not at all, bought the Tazer a few weeks after tires. Mileage went right back up to were it was with stock tires. My new wheel/tire is only a couple pounds heavier than OE, the closer the better.

You take it any sort of off-roading? Supposedly, that’s where I’m going to get in trouble flexing without a lift

But youre not reading off-road magazine, you’re actually running 37s

No off-road yet, I think it would be fine until the sway bar was disconnected, then it would rub.

OK. Then fire roads, boat ramps and the beach will be fine. Thank you very much for your advice and time.

I'm stock gears BFG KO 37's and diesel and knock down 20+mpg. I ran them with a 2.5" leveling kit for awhile until I went with a 3.5".
