I have a 2022 Altitude. It's not the High Altitude. So for all intents and purposes its a Sport. I'm just trying to figure out if my axle width is the same as the Sport or is wider like the Mohave and Rubicon. It matters because I'm looking for new wheels and I know the Rubicon and Mohave have a 1.5 inch wider axle than the Sport, which from my understanding means wheels will stick out .75 inches farther on each side.

Unless you have the "Max Tow" option, you will have the narrow axles.

Thx. So am I thinking right by assuming the same wheel back space & offset sticks out .75 inches farther on the wide axels?

Yes, the Rubicon, Mojave, and Sport Max Tow axles are .75 wider on each side.

To further complicate things, the Mojave wheels have a different offset because of the special shocks.

Yeah - trying to find the right offset for a wheel is bringing back algebra anxiety:)

Easiest way to remember is "Less is more".
Less backspacing is more stick out or poke

My present wheel has 4.75 inch BS. If I kept the exact same size and went to 4.00 inch BS would then end up with .75 inches more poke? Am I thinking about it right?

Augustus McCrae liked more poke. More or less.
