2023 Jeep Gladiator High Altitude

Looking to custom order a 2023 Jeep Gladiator High Altitude.

it actually seems like the dealer is willing to sell me the car at invoice. Only thing is they are trying to put a aftermarket charge that I’ve talked down ~800$ to this point. I think this is a pretty decent deal! Thoughts ?

What aftermarket parts are they claiming would justify this charge? Many dealers will sell at much less than invoice. I’m sure others that have special ordered will speak up, but it doesn’t sound right to me. I bought mine off the lot, but having read lots of these threads, that sounds odd.

We weren't in a rush to order my wifes wrangler High altitude and I had 8 of those sheets . We narrowed it down to 3 that were willing to negotiate and we bargained with those dealers. I see now the dealer lots are full, I'm guessing they might be more apt to negotiate on pricing

so basically they stated that this was the cost of their “insurance”, which was the following:

1. you get $5k if your car gets stolen
2. free stain removal from your car or seat replacement (if it’s not your fault)
3. exterior paint repair (if it’s not rock chips)
   and that’s it. I think that’s kind of worthless and could get by without but they were insistent. They’re trying to recoup some of the rebate.

They tried that on mine. Ask that it be removed from the contract. If you tell them it’s a deal breaker, it will disappear.

Boy, that "package" is about as worthless as they come.
Guess they ran out of nitrogen to pump into your tires that day to rip you off.?

Their crooked attempt to "re-coupe" the rebate, or losing the sale all together.

Sounds like a good time to talk to some other dealers that aren't quite as slimy.

Yikes! Other aftermarket’s? Yeah, I told mine to remove the nitrogen and the paint protection. Sucker born every day and I ain’t no Tootsie Pop.

yeah, quickly starting to realize the only way to get dealers to budge is to start bidding themselves against each other.
