New Gladiator owner here. Searched but cannot find a specific answer to my question. My new 2022 Gladiator Altitude will be used for daily transportation, some towing and winter driving. Not really into serious off-roading. i am picking up others removed components, rock rails for example to install on my Altitude, which did not have them. i have access to a couple of complete 2023 Rubicon spring and shock sets for less than $200 can. each. Is there merit to retro fitting my Gladiator with the OEM Rubicon suspension? What can I expect for results? Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
mrhemi

The Overland/High Altitude is designed to provide a nice highway ride. Putting Rubicon springs and shocks on it will affect that to some degree. For your use, I don't see any real benefit from doing it.

What Mr. Bill said. If your looking for a lift changing to Rubicon springs is not worth the effort in my opinion. Rubicons appear to sit much higher due to additional tire to fender clearance achieved with Rubicon fenders. However, if you enjoy wrenching and you want the ride of a Ruby go for it.

Thanks fore the input, much appreciated. However, I will point out that my Gladiator is an Altitude, not the high priced High Altitude. Really just an option package. Price point it is just bellow a Willys S. Really just wondered if the Rubicon springs would be a slightly higher rate to improve handling when towing my boat. Not really looking for lift.

The Rubicon springs and shocks will provide a stiffer ride than your current components. Tires will affect your ride/handling also. I'm not sure what type you will get with Rubicon springs/shocks and Altitude stock street tires. It may be a little harsh.

I am also going to replace the stock tires with a Nokian tire that has served very well on the Liberty CRD's that I have. Also increase the tire size to the equivalent of what a Willys is delivered with.
Tire change is going forward for sure. Changing to the Rubicon springs/shocks is still under consideration. Thanks for all replies.
