Well my JTM is a 23MY with a 10/22 build date........so I'm already prepared for batteries before next winter......BUT I will also delete the AUX battery as where it and the functions it support are not of use to me and have already been disabled

And I'm at 27k miles now.........will they shit the bed before 36k.....we shall see. If not the local battery house near me sells all their batteries with a 5 year warranty. If it fails in the first year, free replacement, after that up to the 5 years is prorated

Sounds like a good idea. I am moving to replace the primary battery. Thanks.
I really believe Jeep should replace battery without any cost to me. I much rather replace it myself, because I would outright refuse to pay $250 for labor to replace a battery on a vehicle with less than 3000 miles plus covered by a 3 year/ 36000 warranty.

5 years is a good run with a battery. Nothing to really be disappointed about with that. I had a lot of trouble with Diehard Batteries 15 years ago. Caused a lot of trouble back then. I am not too surprised that the replacement guarantees are a much shorter duration of time than they used to be. Had a good run with Interstate, Exide and Everlast batteries. 4 years or more with those brands. Go with which brand works for you.

I heard that. Same with Odyssey. Not really looking to spend over $200.00 for a battery, looking at an Everstart AGM Platinum H7, although the spec calls for an H6 , if I have that right.

Funny enough I've actually had really good luck with the Duralast batteries from AutoZone both the Gold and AGM batteries

Excellent choice, almost forgot about Autozone. Spending too much time at Walmart, buying oil, filters, gear oil and detailing stuff.

Fun stuff is what Jeeps are all about, IMO. Have good batteries in your Jeep and have fun!

I went to Walmart this past weekend and bought an Everlast AGM Platinum H7 battery and replaced the main battery, the Aux battery, I had replaced back in December 2024. There were absolutely no problems with installing it and the battery size was exactly the same as the Mopar battery. The felt cover went on perfectly. Most importantly, got in Gladiator and she started right up, without any hesitation. I went out late in the morning and made three trips throughout the day. There were no issues whatsoever. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you and everyone who chimed in on the issue. All the help and suggestions are most appreciated!

Yes, indeed. A 3/8” ratchet, 10 mm socket, 13 mm socket, good lighting, new battery and a cup of coffee; on a Saturday morning. Not much easier than that. Thanks your help. Most appreciated.
