Are you saying you can get to the connector just by unplugging that purple connector and removing that black thing the connector plugs into?
Some can. Brian could but I couldn’t. Mine was taped too far back. It’s not that bad of a job. You only have to take out 1,350 7mm screws and sacrifice a goat.

And what do you know... The speaker just popped out (after removing three screws) and fell down (after removing the wiring). I guess I'll have to replace them both. Shucks!

Much appreciated. And also thanks to @bill61 for his detailed explanation. Definitely a cooler weather job for me unless I can find a way to cool my shop. Fans just blow the humidity around.

Thanks for the details. I like your Kobalt hanging light, too. Bet it was handy.

Glad to see it can be done without removing the dash top in a 2024. Did you have any of those screws leftover after you buttoned everything up,😎😎😎?

I guess I'll be ordering the "kit" from Benny at @AllMoparParts.com soon.

these are a little different then the dash screws. These have retaining washers and may be too wide and they don’t have the Phillips slots.
Damn it! Thanks! Benny will lead the way!

I bought my kit from him. Everything was included.
Was shipping expensive? I have a 10% off coupon at my local dealership. I'm trying to figure out which would be a better buy.

I would look at both. As sometimes the price at the dealer is better (especially because no shipping is involved at my dealership) but sometimes Benny is the lower cost.
I like to throw business his way as he provides a lot of information and is a small business. I don’t know if he does price matching??
I PM’d you…

Got the PM and thanks! I agree and will always go with Benny first even if he ends up being a few dollars more because he bends over backward for forum members. He probably only gets 10% of sales for all the questions he answers. My dealer parts guys are very cool and helpful but Benny goes the extra mile.
