Are they going to be different than the Extreme recon wrangler flare . I just got the 37's installed and don't want to sandblast the side if I can avoid it .

I think they are the same but I could be wrong, I often am.

The fronts are the same for a Gladiator and a Wrangler
but the rears are not. It helps to put the right rear on the left
and the left on the right but the holes will still not line up.
You have to drill.

The flare extensions do not come down far enough
to keep your ride pristine.
Mud flaps are in order. RokBlokz are preferred.

Maybe I misunderstood some the prior posts discussing this, but I think the Gladiator takes fronts in the rear as well. And yes, they’ll require a little drilling in the black plastics as the the holes don’t match up.

The hack to run the recon flares is to order 2 sets of the fronts and use 1 set for the fronts as normal but the rear you use the right front for the left rear and left front as right rear . Doing the hack allows the fronts to cover more than the recon rears do for the gladiator . Here is a picture of it done properly . That is a left front recon flare installed on a right rear gladiator . Some new holes need drilled and some relieve cuts need done to get it to follow the line of the gladiator .

Those are different.
The regular Mopar extensions do not come down
as low as the recon ones.

And if you have running boards there may be no need for mud flaps.
Here are regular Mopar extensions and RokBlokz on my Rubicon.

RokBlokz provide a knockout for the OEM rock sliders to fit through.

So there are 2 different types of flares/spats . I do have the rubicon so I should be able to use the extreme recon flares .
I just got the 37's on and want to be proactive of the paint protection if i can .
