I purchased a CPO 2020 Jeep Gladiator (past reg 3yr warranty) from a dealer in January. Immediately discovered multiple issues including roof leak, and tailgate not locking.

I was under impression CPO purchases came with 7 yr limited powertrain as well as 3 month / 3000 mile maximum care coverage bumper-to-bumper warrarnty based on what is stated on Jeep's website. However when I talk to Jeep or Mopar only the 7 year is listed under my Jeep. I can't get anyone to help me, Jeep tells me to contact Mopar, Mopar tells me I have to contact Jeep. Dealership is not being responsive either (I bought the Jeep in spite of the dealership) and they gave me no warranty paperwork upon purchase.

Meanwhile, my roof leaks water into my car, I am getting mold/mindew in the bottom of the roof panel and we're continuing to get torrential rains here in California today.

Any ideas of what I can do here? @JeepCares can you help??

Vehicle should have had a "Buyers Guide" taped on the window with it checked stating what if any warranty the dealer was offering. Did you get that paper?

Hypothetically, if you get it sorted that you have the CPO 3/3K "Bumper to Bumper" coverage, it is not like the new vehicle bumper to bumper and excludes quite a few things to include body and paint issues that your leaking top may fall under.

Jeep and MOPAR just follow what they have on file and it is up the dealership to file whatever they are offering and is the choke point. Regardless of you buying it from a Jeep dealer, it is still a used vehicle and there is some shifting of how much Jeep or the MOPAR division is going to do anything on your behalf to get it sorted.

You might have to engage your state AG consumer protection department and apply pressure from that side with your dealership to unscrew this.

Thanks for the reply. I did not receive the buyer's guide or any kind of warranty paperwork upon purchase.

you could also reach out to the fella on this forum, his names escapes me, and see about an extended warranty. Once purchased you can have the issues youve identified covered.
