Anyone running 35x12.5r17 ridge grapplers? They’re E load so I’m trying to understand whether the ride quality is sacrificed significantly or not. Thanks

excellent tire. Must be rotated every 5k miles or they start getting noisy due to saw tooth wear. Heavy tire and wheel.

Good tire, but it’s heavy and hard, you will notice a ride difference....I liked mine, however won’t be going with another E tire this time.

Love my Ridge Grapplers. Pretty smooth on road and have been stellar off road. When I wear these out I will replace them with another exact set.

That's the exact tire I have on 17x10 wheels, and I love them. Perfect combination of different styles of tires IMO. I've had them on for about 6K miles and they seem to be wearing good, and very quiet.

I’ve only had my RGs on for a few days, so not a lot of miles yet. With that said, I’ve found them to be only slightly stiffer than the stock Falken MTs and ride very well.. I’m digging them! I’ve got 315/70/17s, so just slightly less diameter but slightly wider. Also 70 lbs. vs. 75 for the 35s. Still a load E tire, though. I tried to make up a little weight gain with a 22 LB. wheel.

I've got the 35x12.5x17 E-Rated Ridge Grapplers on mine. Very happy with them. I personally don't really notice the stiffer sidewall. The stock tires were shorter (plus I had 18" wheels) and thus have less sidewall. The 35"s have more sidewall but are stiffer, so to me it's a wash. Maybe if I could drive the same tire back to back, C-rated vs E-rated, maybe I would notice a difference? But otherwise I don't find it to be an issue. And in my experience, the E-rated tire will last longer. And no matter what tire you put on there, it's still going to ride like a Jeep, haha.
