@jac04, thank you for posting up your initial impressions on the Baja Boss AT tires. It sounds like you picked a good tire to fit your needs.
I guess I should also let people know about the "not so good" aspect of getting these tires.

2 out of the 5 tires that I received had 'shaved' tread. This means that the tires were shaved by the manufacturer to bring them within runout tolerance. This info came right from Mickey Thompson. The shaved areas were almost 1/16" deep in some areas and the tread had a 'feathered' look to it. Needless to say, at almost $350 each, I didn't want any tread to be shaved off, even if it was considered part of the normal manufacturing process. Tire Rack agreed, and exchanged these tires for me for ones that had no shaving at all.

I have also had issues with these tires spinning relative to the wheels after wheeling in some steep rocky terrain that required significant throttle input along with locker use. They originally spun about 4 - 6" relative to the wheel lip. The tires were originally mounted using copious amounts of paste type tire lube, and I went wheeling 2 days after they were mounted. I broke them down (the beads broke very easily) and cleaned off the lube using some lacquer thinner. When I re-seated the beads, they seated with a little pop instead of just easily sliding into place. On my last trip, the 2 rear tires rotated slightly (about 1"). I broke them down and this time I cleaned them really well using Brake Parts Cleaner. This time, when the beads seated it was with a loud bang. I think this will do the trick. If not, Mopar beadlocks may be in my future.

Nice of Tire Rack to do that... most OEM's do not accept tires that have been ground and they end up in the replacement market. Nothing wrong with them, just not ideal. We even banded sets of four or five so that all of their characteristics matched, conicity was a big one.
Hard to match the quality of an OEM set that came on the vehicle.

You can get close if they are marked but not sure it's worth it.

Got it, well they look great. I'd be interested to hear what you think of them compared to the Kenda's after you get a chance to run them for a little while.
I have not had the issues mentioned previously and like the Mickeys a lot.
Actually, as silly as it would be, I’m thinking about another set to swap out my Kendas. There is nothing wrong with said Kendas, as I just like the Mickeys more overall. I know it’s only a 1/2 inch, but I just want to run the narrowest 35” A/T tire all year.
Yes… the following are pictured with 1.5” wheel spacers, but I have since removed them. Being on base Mojave wheels, they do not tuck as much as I thought they might and I just did not want that look (tucked).
