Patagonia M/T 2’s, great tire so far. Surprised how quiet they are. They measure a tad over 37” in reality.

Looks great! are you on a 4.5" lift?

All you guys running 38x13.50 with a 17x9.5 wheels what is your offset? I'm currently running some methods 17x8.5 307 w/ 0 offset. I know that I will need to upgrade my wheels if I want to run this tire. I wasn't sure if -18 offset would suffice. Any info would really be appreciated.

I posted a few pics on this thread. They are 17x8.5 icon rebound pros with 38x13.50... also at one point had 40s on same tire. 38s never rubbed. Are you wanting new wheels or thinking you have to get new wheels?

Interesting I thought in order to run a wider tire you would need at least -18 offset or higher on a 17x8.5 wheel. I'm currently rubbing just a little at full lock it's. not much just a small black line on my coilover. I'm running Toyo's M/T 37x12.50. No spacers. Are you running any spacers? I was running spacers when I had my stock wheels but took them off when I upgraded to these Methods 307.

The wife's 2019 JLUR when we were planning our 1st moab trip she suggested a lift and bigger tires (wheeled it stock for the 1st year). I said "I'll order it". She said no 40s. So I ordered the 2.5" lift and 37s. When she got home from work the day I had the tires installed she said "those look big for 35s". That's because they're 37s, you said no 40s. After 40k miles the next set were milestar Patagonias in a 38x13.50r17. After that rig was stolen and replaced with the 2022 xr similar discussion come time for the 1st big wheeling trip to big bear. Kanati 39x12.50r17s mud hogs... because no 40s. It seems most 38s are pretty close to true to size as are the kanati 39s where 37s are all over the map. Pretending the 1" doesn't matter is like pretending 37s aren't much bigger than 35s. Yes all 38s I've ever seen are bigger than the biggest 37s on the market. Yes the 39s will be bigger still.

No spacers, I did have some rubbing full lock but that was on the bottom inner part of the fender flares. I chose to cut out some of the structure behind it and pull the factory inner back and held in with zip ties in a couple places. I never had any rubbing else where and I also have coilovers. Im thinking that yours are positioned more outward at the top. Or possibly 2.5in c/o's? You may need to run wider offset. Everyone's build ls are a little different, i can only say my experience. Also, assuming you have the wide track axles as well, if not thats a .75in a side more narrow.

Yes up front my c/o over is a 2.5 12" Front King coilover with Hydraulic bump stop. That's why am thinking I probably need to run winder offset. Makes sense everyone's build is a bit different than others. Thanks for the clarification.
