Once you start thinking about stuff with a 3d printer, the possibilities are pretty endless, it's a lot of fun.

I just finished this bracket for my spod mount...

I'm also working on an air port using the 4xe cover..

I have made a battery disconnect bracket for the HF badlands winch next to the battery. Two piece brackets for the ABS and braided stainless brake lines. Also have printed rear bumpstop spacers that bolt to the axle plates. All printed in ABS for temp resistance. Made brackets for rocklights and module also. The possibilities are endless.

I use the free hobbyist version of Fusion 360 for my design purposes. Learned using YouTube videos for CAD.
Do you have the cad files for the battery disconnect bracket? It’s on my long list to print…

I love the baofeng mount that I got off Etsy for my original uv-5R.
I bought some other radios to have and they wouldn’t fit, so I copied the Etsy mount and fudged some measurements and put something together in Tinkercad to fit the baofeng GM-15Pro.

Anybody interested in making some custom wheel center caps? Also custom horn/steering wheel center cover?
MechE here with a Bambu X1C. Do you have dimensions?

Ive had good results using Polycam on my smart phone to do 3D scans of motorcycle frame / parts / etc and importing the mesh to Fusion 360.

Scale feature through Polycam is hit or miss so I scale the mesh in Fusion. I've made a few custom bike parts by going this route and will prolly be applying this to the Jeep in the future.

Need to get around to purchasing a printer, I've paid out the nose to Shapeways a few times and could own a printer by now instead..

Sorry to revive an old thread, but does anyone happen to know where to get this file, or something similar. I'm working on a project and need to mount here, this file would be perfect, but I'm a rookie when it comes to modeling complex shapes like this.

Do you have the file for the disconnect? I need to get mine properly mounted.

I'll get some hate for this but I designed and printed a mount for the two ducks I have on my dash. The little mounts clip into the slots of my Bulletpoint mounting bracket on my dash. I was able to print these at a local library for free as I prototype. They don't have ABS so once I settle on my design I'll probably pay to have them printed somewhere.

I'd love to get a 3D printer but I just can't justify it yet.

I don't have any pics of the final product but I was able to screenshot a few views from the slicer program I used before printing them. The mounts are really small. I think the large disc was only 10 or 12 mm in diameter and only 2 or so mm thick. I need to edit my STL file to make the prong part that snaps into the Bulletpoint grid a little thicker. They break too easily with how thick they are now. The mounts are upside down in the pic below. The slicer said they would print better in that orientation.
