Do guys live in states with no inspections? There are certain things about Pennsylvania that drive me nuts. Vehicle laws and state inspectors are definitely among them....

Actually here they did away with inspections. No safety inspections, no emissions inspections.

Well, emissions for five parishes.

Everyone else - it's the wild west.

I replaced mine last year when I noticed it not working. I bought the part from a Jeep stealership for $58 and I thought that was high at the time for what is essentially a fancy LED strip. I just looked them up and now, a year later, they are over $100.

Either way, replacing it was extremely easy. It took maybe 10 minutes, if that. They are charging a ridiculous parts markup and egregious labor at a quote of $400+.
