Toying with the idea of going from 3.5" lift and 37s to a 6" lift and 40s.
Boat people call this "Two Foot itis" but it is what it.

There's a little practically involved:
Most of my motivation is the look, but some practical aspect are the mudholes on trails which have been mostly rutted by 37" and under tires and serious water depths in the rainier times of the year.

I've made a checklist based around front control arm relocation brackets and my current fixed 3.5 LCAs in tandem with 6" coil springs, and shock relocation brackets.

6" SPRINGS
2" CONTROL ARM DROP BRACKETS
SWAY BAR LINKS
TRACK BAR RELOCATION BRACKETS
EXTENDED BRAKE LINES
DRIVESHAFT
REAR UPPER (POSSIBLY LOWER) CONTROL ARMS
LIMITING STRAPS
BUMP STOPS

There may be aspects of this endeavor I'm not aware of. One of which I am is the front driveshaft. Is there more to this than a new one which clears the factory skid?
How about steering geometry?
What of the ABS sensors, e brake lines, FAD and locker wires?

Who's done this, and what are your recommendations? Thx.

I'm assuming that you flipped your drag link along with your front track bar relocation brackets. After a lot of heartache on my last rig doing pretty much exactly what you're doing now, I found that the CA brackets, track bar brackets and drag link flip made all of the difference in driveability. I ended up trading in my '20 gas engine for a '22 diesel. I went straight to an Evo 6.5" stage 4 lift and have had 0 issues so far. I've got ~30k miles on this setup and have no complaints.

Have the track bar relocation bracket. Drag link flip it's on its way.

Looks like a beast.
Which springs did you go with?

Thanks! Evo 6.5" HD springs. I gained 8" initially but the bumper/winch has dropped it a little bit. I've got a .75" spacer to install but I'm honestly a little scared to mess with anything since it hasn't had any issues. I fought DW for 30k miles on my '20.

Worth doing some rear upper CA brackets to help with geometry? Supposed to help most with droop which is essentially what you’re doing.
Teraflex and RockJock make some, I believe.
I put on a Rock Krawler Pro-X cradle which also accomplishes something like this, though I’m not sure how these compare.

Got those too waiting to go in. I'm not sure of the necessity but teraflex sold me on them.

I'm leaning towards hd gas springs but am going to have get the compression rates first to compare.
A lot of what I run is washboard so I prefer lighter springs then adjust the dampening with the shocks. I find that way also uses more range of motion when I want it most.

I picked up a grab bag of stuff and it had both rough country and Skyjacker extended rear brake lines. If you have a line on which is better, lmk.
I haven't used either one of those brake lines. I have used the KLM brake lines on 3 trucks. Never had an issue with them. Have a set for the JT setting on the work bench in the garage waiting to be installed.
