If you really want a 6" lift and it fits your needs that price is hard to beat, looks like it has everything you need to get your Jeep driving down the road.

If this is mostly street and mild offroading I would just get adjustable lower front and upper rear control arms, because you almost never want to make a control arm shorter to dial in caster or rear pinion angle.

If you are looking for more serious off-roading I would look for a different kit

Has anyone installed this? It is missing adjustable control arms, which I assume with 6" lift is a must? The price is very good thou. Would it make sense to get this and source control arms from another brand?
If you are running big tires ..........say 37" or bigger and you lift that JT six more inches, you better get a ladder to get into it unless you are 7' tall. I'm 6'2", lean, have 37's on my JTR, and have an AEV 2.5" lift and it's not fun getting into the Jeep. My question is, what are you going to use the JT for that you need so much lift?

Thats alot of lift. I have 4.5 lift on mine and ended up needing adjustable upper control arms to fix the pinion angle.

Man that seems like a lot of lift if you are doing much highway driving. Find four 6" blocks and dive up on them, you may find that getting in and out to be a real issue (like Reddog said). And your passengers are going to have real issues if they are, say female. It will look great but....

The wife daily drivers her JLUR with 3.5" lift and 39s and she's only 5'10", maybe her purse is lighter than yours??
I agree there's no need for 6" of lift unless you're running 42's though. My mojave clears 37s on just 2" of lift. No need to go that tall in my opinion.

Rough Country… I’ll pass. I do just fine on 4.5” lift and 37s. And yes, I keep a step stool in my backseat for passengers to get in and out of it.

Call your local Jeep shop, not a dealer, not bob’s auto center, a decent reliable Jeep shop. Mention Rough Country and see how fast they hang up on you.

I am 6'4", so it should be fine :)

Thanks for your opinions, I will start saving on the proper EVO lift.

My wife is the same height as yours. She is slim, fit, and has trouble getting into my JT. Not end of the world, just makes it more difficult. I see a lot of JT's and JL's lifted excessively from my point of view and I would bet 75% of them never go rock crawling. Everything comes at a price including vehicle stability, rollover moment, and ride, but it's a free country so people can buy the lift they want and don't need a reason I guess. My JT has AEV lift and sits higher than I like but I wanted to make sure I had the clearance for the roads on my sons ranch out west. So that is one of the tradeoffs I guess.

I agree whole heartedly in only lifting as much as you need to clear the tires and terrain you intend to run. The jlur only has 3.5" of lift, clears 39s, and has just enough bump stop for the tires to slightly rub the inner fenders. As tall as necessary but as low as possible.

Honestly, I would source a better kit from a better company than Rough Country or even Skyjacker because once you buy the other parts needed to do it right, most likely would have been in the same price range of a better companies kit that was more complete.

Rough Country and Skyjacker have always been cheaper because of tradeoffs in omitting things in other companies would come with regardless.
